Hallo Mattes, die Category:Astronomy on stamps als Unterkategorie von Category:Nature on stamps (siehe dort) hatte ich kurz vorher durch die präzisere, von mir erstellte Category:Astronomical objects on stamps ersetzt, weil erstere auch künstliche also nichtnatürliche Objekte wie zum Beispiel astronomische Instrumente zum Gegenstand hat. --Lotse (talk) 22:05, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bilder von Mausoleum des Kyrus den Großen[edit]

Guten Abend Lotse, ich will die Bilder von Mausoleum des Kyrus den Großen, die ich selbst gemacht habe, auf Commons hochladen. Aber die Commons-Webseite ist nicht erreichbar im Iran and darum muß ich ein Proxy benutzen. Dieserweise die Hochladung-Geschwindichkeit wird sehr sehr langsam sein. Können Sie bitte diese Bilder für mich auf Commons hochladen?

Category:OpenStreetMap maps of Berlin[edit]

Hallo, die jetzige Kategoriestruktur um Category:OpenStreetMap maps of Berlin passt nicht so ganz: wie Du siehst, gibt es auch Karten auf OSM-Basis, die keine Straßenkarten sind. OSM ist eine zusätzliche Kategorisierung nach Datenquelle (wie SVG nach Datenformat); Straßenkarte hingegen nach Kartentyp. Hallo Alexrk2, du meinst wahrscheinlich die Karten der Wasserstraßen und der Bahnstreckenverläufe. Ich könnte für die anderen eine Unterkategorie Category:OpenStreetMap street maps of Berlin anlegen (und sie dort natürlich auch gleich einsortieren); wäre das die optimale Lösung? --Lotse (talk) 19:50, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nicht zu kompliziert. Category:OpenStreetMap maps of Berlin ist einfach eine ergänzende Kategorie die auf die Datenherkunft verweist, vom Prinzip ähnlich wie die SVG-Kategorien - das hat nichts mit einer thematischen Einordnung zu tun.

Für eine Straßenkarte auf OSM-Basis: Category:OpenStreetMap maps of Berlin, Category:Street maps of Berlin

Und eine Bahnkarte auf OSM-Basis: Category:OpenStreetMap maps of Berlin, Category:Public transport maps of Berlin

Category:Hans Hennig[edit]

Hallo Lotse, du hast die Cat verteilt, aber noch nicht angelegt. Vielleicht in guter Absicht? Denn der Name des Bildhauers ist doch sehr zweifelhaft und muss noch überprüft werden: es gibt viele Varianten: Hanns, Hans-Detlef, Hanns-Detlef, Hans-Detlev, Hennig, Henning... Hallo Schiwago, ich hatte ebenfalls nachgeforscht und bin auf die vielen Namensvarianten gestoßen, deshalb habe ich auch keine Cat angelegt, sondern nur die weiter verteilt, die schon ein Anderer vor mir benutzt hat. Zwei identische ? Plastiken "Tanzende Kraniche" von Gottfried Kohl[edit]

Hallo Lotse, ich hab gerade ein paar Bilder von Skulpturen in Bad Liebenstein eingestellt. Bei der Beschreibung hab ich Dein Bild "Tanzende Kraniche" im Tierpark Berlin entdeckt. Das hat mich stutzig gemacht, offenbar hat Kohl diese Plastik zwei mal gegossen. Welches ist älter? Kannst Du nochmal nach dem Datum "Deines" Berliner Kranichpaares schauen, ich habe in einem Stadtführer Bad Liebenstein leider kein exaktes Datum ermitteln können, um 1978 bis 1981 wurde aber viel modernisiert, daher meine ich, die Plastik kam in dieser Zeit nach Bad Liebenstein. Hallo Metilsteiner, vielen Dank für deinen Hinweis. Die bisherige Bildbeschreibung zu meinem Foto von Kohls Kranichen hat sich nach den Angaben in der Tierparkbroschüre Tiere mit steinernem Herzen und bronzener Haut von Enrico Matthies gerichtet: "Graukraniche (Bronze 1995)". Das deckte sich auch mit den Angaben in den Lichtenberger Ansichten (siehe hier). Nach dieser Seite von Bildhauerei-in-berlin.de heißt die Plastik wirklich "Tanzende Kraniche" und wurde schon 1972 gegossen, jedoch erst 1995 im Tierpark aufgestellt. Dem entsprechend habe ich die Bildbeschreibung jetzt angepasst. Dass es zwei oder auch mehrere Abgüsse einer Plastik gibt, ist nicht selten. In diesem Fall gibt es nach meiner Kurzrecherche noch mindestens zwei weitere Exemplare: Eines in Eppendorf (siehe hier) und eines in Freiberg (siehe hier). Zu dem Bad Liebensteiner Exemplar habe ich nur diese Seite der Heimatfreunde mit der vagen Angabe "...vermutlich mit der Gestaltung des Rosengartens nach 1986 aufgestellt..." gefunden. Der Guss selbst könnte aber auch in diesem Fall eventuell weit älter sein. Bei dieser Gelegenheit habe ich mir übrigens erlaubt, zwei deiner Links zu korrigieren; ich denke, du hast nichts dagegen. Kategorisierung von Category:Photographs by IngolfBLN[edit]

Lieber Lotse,
mir ist zwar nicht ganz klar, nach welchem Prinzip du die Bilder kategorisierst (ich finde immer wieder Bilder, die du ausgelassen hast), aber kannst du, wenn du die Bilder einsortierst, es – soweit möglich – auch komplett machen? Das heißt bei vielen Bildern noch Zusatzkategorien wie "Train station clocks in Germany", "Stairs in Berlin", "Ticket machines in Germany", "DAISY", etc. etc. einzubauen? Das würde Doppelarbeit vermeiden. Ich gehe gerade direkt vom Anfang der Kategorie bis zum Ende durch. Grüße, --Jcornelius (talk) 17:32, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo lieber Jcornelius, da ich mich mit den Zusatzkategorien in diesem Bereich nicht so routiniert auskenne, würde bei dieser Menge dann trotzdem einige Doppelarbeit anfallen. Weil mein Zeitrahmen zunehmend knapper wird und du die o.g. Kategorie jetzt linear durcharbeitest, ist es wohl effektiver, wenn ich dieses Feld jetzt dir überlasse und mich wieder mehr um andere Bereiche kümmere. Passenger ships in Berlin[edit]

Bitte bedenke dass nicht jeder Schiff in Berlin ist ein Schiff registriert in Deutschland. Es gibt auch viele Frachtschiffe und Tankers aus andere Länder in Berlin. Deshalb categorisierte ich Passagiersschiffe in Berlin als Category:Passenger ships of Germany, wie alle andere bei Registrierung in Deutschland. --Stunteltje (talk) 13:16, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ich denke nicht. Dafür soll man immer die Unterschied betrachten zwischen "ships in" und "ships of". Der categoriebaum leidet in eine andere Richtung. Nicht alle Schiffe in Berlin sind registriert in Deutschland und dann gibt er auch ein categorie mit andere Passagierschiffe in Berlin. Sehe zum beispiel wie es geht mit Category:Passenger ships in Bremerhaven. Auch dort hat man die Unterschied nicht gemacht. --Stunteltje (talk) 18:36, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo Leit, die Angaben zum vorherigen Standort sind von Enrico Matthies: Tiere mit steinernem Herzen und bronzener Haut. Der künstlerische Schmuck des Tierparks Berlin. Berlin 2009, S. 15; Herausgeber: Tierpark Berlin Friedrichsfelde GmbH. "Die Wiedergabe – auch Auszugsweise – bedarf der vorherigen schriftlichen Zustimmung des Herausgebers." "Panoramic"[edit]

Hallo Lotse, du hast im Bild File:Bundesarchiv Bild 183-W1126-311, Berlin, DDR-Gründung, 9. Volksratsitzung, Rede Pieck.jpg ja den Fehler mit der Verwechslung der Brüder erkannt - klasse! Man mag sich gar nicht vorstellen wie viele solcher Fehler sich hier auf Commons tummeln.
Auf der Seite des Bundesarchivs, hast du diesen aber noch nicht gemeldet (denn das sollte ja auch im Archiv und hier in den Beschreibungen geändert werden). Oder übersehe ich etwas? --Mirer (talk) 20:40, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ich dachte du wärst da sehr aktiv, aber der Kollege, den ich in Erinnerung hatte, hat im Benutzernamen ein "j" an der Stelle deines "s" ;-) . Hallo Lotse, auch wenn da seit Jahren niemand mehr was schrieb, würde ich den Beitrag doch noch mal auf Commons:Deutsche Fotothek/Error reports einstellen. Vielleicht hat die Seite noch jemand auf seiner Beobachtungsliste, der dann entsprechendes veranlasst oder noch jemanden kennt, der jemand kennt. ;-) Evtl. fühlen sich dann auch andere ermutigt dort weitere Fehler zu melden, die sie schon vor längerer Zeit entdeckt, aber nicht gemeldet haben. I am writing to you because we are looking for feedback for a new Wikimedia Foundation project, Structured Data Across Wikimedia (SDAW). SDAW is a grant-funded programme that will explore ways to structure content on wikitext pages in a way that will be machine-recognizable and -relatable, in order to make reading, editing, and searching easier and more accessible across projects and on the Internet. We are now focusing on designing and building image suggestion features for experienced users.

We have some questions to ask you about your experience with uploading images here on Wikimedia Commons and then adding them to Wikipedia. You can answer these questions on a specific feedback page on Mediawiki, where we will gather feedback. As I said, these questions are in English, but your answers do not need to be in English! You can also answer in your own language, if you feel more comfortable.

Once the collecting of feedback will be over, we will sum it up and share with you a summary, along with updated mocks that will incorporate your inputs.

nahmd Lotse, habe gerade damit angefangen, den Straßenbahntransport in Berlin nach Monat zu sortieren. siehe z.b. Category:July 2017 in tram transport in Berlin. Ich habe dazu ein Wikidata-Objekt (wikidata:Q115093543) erstelllt, aber kann den genauen Standort bei OSM schlecht ausmachen.
