photos d'illustration d'articles

Je cherche une catégorie pour des photos d'illustration d'articles

Bonjour, j'ai posé cette question sur le bistro et on me conseille de venir te voir. Je cherche s'il existe une catégorie pour signaler des photos "généralistes" qui permettent d'illustrer un thème ou un article (de wikinews par exemple). Par exemple cette photo :

Le problème étant qu'elle a été notée comme "low quality" par une personne sans doute bien intentionnée qui n'a pas compris l'usage que je voyais pour cette photo. Merci d'avance. Lionel Allorge (talk) 20:44, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Tu cherches les catégories pour ranger les stock photos (en fr) (comme il y a des stock footage au cinéma), ce genre de photos qui se vend par lots de mille.
Commons n'est pas très développé pour tout ce qui n'est pas de la photo scientifico-démonstrative, j'essaye de faire des photos de textures (pour la 3D) de temps en temps, mais ce genre de choses ne semble pas être une priorité de Commons. Il faut s'immiscer dans le projet avec ce genre de choses, surveiller que personne ne trouve ça indigne d'être sur le projet, argumenter le cas échéant, etc. Je crée Category:Stock photographies.

Je viens de m'entretenir avec Thesupermat par rapport à une photo qu'il aurait éventuellement prise de moi le samedi 4 décembre dans l'après-midi, mais il n'en a pas retrouvée de telle, et m'a éventuellement dirigé vers toi qui as aussi pris pas mal de photos durant ces journées. Alors pour que tu saches qui je suis: je suis sur cette photo tout au fond, contre le mur, en noir, environ au 5ème rang). Alors est-ce-que défois tu te souviens avoir pris une photo de moi? Si oui alors je veux bien l'avoir si tu veux bien. J'espère que c'est toi parce que sinon je me demande bien qui était ce photographe inconnu...! Grafitti on vehicles

Hello Lionel

Welcome on Commons. Thank you very much for your work on the "graffiti on vehicles" subcategories you created. Can I ask you to please create new categories in plural - all Commons categories are plural by default. In other words, it is "Graffiti on trucks", not "Graffiti on truck". You do NOT need to change this yourself. I have put these categories on the COmmons Delinker (a robot editor) so that they will be changed, likely at some point in the next day(s).

Also, when you create a new category, can you please place in the applicable categories? You placed "Graffiti on truck" as a subcategory of "Graffiti on vehicles" - correct - but it also needed to go into "Trucks" as well.

✓ Done. Les catégories en français sont devenues des redirects sauf celles qui ont un nom officiel (Category:Cimetière de la Tournelle, Category:Cimetière des Gonards...).

Water texture on black ice growler

Thank you for taking your time to maintain and refine categories. I noticed this change on one of my photos specializing a texture from "texture" to "water texture". But what is depicted is ice. Hi Lionel, Thanks for your reply. I agree with the objective of creating more specic categories to avoid massive unspecific categories. However, I prefer if it is possible to add more than one photo to a specific category, so I have put it back in the "Texture" category as I found "water texture" a little misleading. Trônes et catégories

Bonjour,

Un petit message d'information quant à quelques éditions que je viens de faire sur tes photos de trônes, de la catégorie {{Wikimedia takes the Château de Versailles}}. J'ai en effet retiré les catégories et les bandeaux associés au partenariat. Cela m'a été demandé par le château, car la plupart des trônes ont été prêtés par des instances extérieure, à la condition qu'ils ne soient pas pris en photo. Le règlement de l'exposition signalait cela.

Bien que cette demande de non-photos soit considérée par ce même château comme étant abusive pour du mobilier ancien (cela ne leur pose aucun problème pour que cela soit sur Commons), ils préfèrent que ces images ne soient pas directement associées au partenariat, afin de ne pas fausser les relations futures avec ces musées, qu’elles soient de notre bord ou du leur.

Paris and the Spanish language

Hi! One thing I noticed is that the municipality of Paris posts announcements in Spanish (in addition to English and French), so apparently Spanish is also an important language in the city. So in some Paris-related categories and images I started adding Spanish names.

Do you know a little bit of Spanish? Would you be interested in adding Spanish translations to Paris-related media and categories too? Thanks WhisperToMe (talk) 07:39, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
