Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Dear Kwawe, Please don't destroy historic photographs by uploading fantasy-coloured versions. If you feel the need to upload that kind of photos, please upload them as a separate version. Vysotsky (talk) 12:20, 25 December 2022 (UTC)

You seem to forget we are using encyclopedic content, not phantasy photographs. If you like to use this coloured version, please write a blog or make a fancy website. Apologies if I was a bit harsh. I took me a few hours to trace the photo in 2015, and hundreds of hours (during five months) to find out every detail about the photo and it's copyright. That's why I observe any changes to the photo carefully, so the historic details aren't spoiled and the metadata is in line with the photo. If you made the new coloured version yourself, you are free to upload it to Commons - as a separate version. Vysotsky (talk) 00:19, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
