Ich habe das hier in den letzten Tagen hochgeladen. Ich hoffe - eigentlich bin ich mir sicher -, es ist Einiges für Dich dabei! Es ist Teil des Scan-Projekts mit dem Bundesdenkmalamt in Wien.

Ich werde mich auch diesbezüglich - vor allem wenn es um steirische Themen geht - noch an Dich wenden.

Danke, das freut mich! Den Stich von Graz hab ich - glaub ich zumindest - in ca 60 anderssprachigen Wikipedias untergebracht. Schleppbahnen Wien-Liesing[edit]

Sehr geehrter Herr Moser! Habe Ihre hochinteressanten Pläne und andere Dokumente zu Liesinger Schleppbahnen gesehen - sind Sie da noch involviert? Welche Quellen haben Sie verwendet? Bin in einer informellen Industriehistorikerrunde zu Liesing und da sind auch die Schleppbahnen ein Thema. --Kuhni74 (talk) 12:20, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ja, danke - das war eine Sammelei über Jahre, wir schnitzen auch noch an dem Wikipedia-Artikel dafür und sind im Stadium der Belegverifizierung, also im Frühjahr könnte es einen Beitrag dazu geben, in dem wir die Quellen auch natürlich nennen. Allzuviel gibt's leider nicht. Die Landkarten sind die diversen alten Karten der Landesaufnahme bzw. ein paar alte Stadtpläne, die Quellen sind aber - soweit wir sie selber kannten - bei den Daten der einzelnen Bilder ohnedies zitiert.--Josef Moser (talk) 12:43, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Important message for file movers[edit]

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

Irgendwie beides: ich hab beim Hinschauen schon mehrfach ein komisches Gefühl gehabt, konnte es aber nicht verbalisieren. Dann hab ich in der WP nachgeschaut, wie dieses Tier tatsächlich auszusehen hätte. Ich find es lieb, dass sich diese beiden "Hendln" (weil als Adler sind sie ja wohl nur deutbar) gegenseitig anschauen und so praktisch ihre Zuneigung zueinander ausdrücken. Und letztlich stehts ja eh auch im Artikel über den Stephansdom, aber das hab ich erst nachher bemerkt, obwohl ich dort immer wieder herumtu. Texte schreiben und denselben Artikel tatsächlich zur Gänze von oben nach unten lesen ist offenbar doch stärker was anderes als ich geglaubt hab. Bilder von Rhododendron von der Handalpe - Bestimmung?[edit]

Hallo Josef Moser, Ihre obigen Bilder (insbesondere die ersten zwei) sehen für mich eher nach der Rostblättrigen Alpenrose (Rhododendron ferugineum) als nach der Behaarten Alpenrose (Rhododendron hirsutum) aus. Man sieht keine Haare und die Blüten sind recht kurz gestielt. Die Blattunterseiten kann ich leider nicht sehen. Auch sieht mir das Gestein eher weniger nach Kalk aus. Bei den übrigen Bildern von Ihnen ist meine Ansicht natürlich reine Spekulation, da die Pflanzen viel zu winzig ausfallen. Hybriden der Arten kommen vor und sind stellenweise häufiger als die Elternarten. Zur Bestimmung der Alpenrosen sollen die drei letzten Bilder (meine Fotos) dienen und außerdem die folgende Seite: http://www.blumeninschwaben.de/Zweikeimblaettrige/Heidekrautgewaechse/almrausch.htm. Ich habe die Bilder erst mal zu Category:Rhododendron ferrugineum geschoben, weil das vom Aussehen her und vom Boden her deutlich wahrscheinlicher ist. In den Zentralalpen ist, wegen der meist sauren Böden, Rhododendron ferrugineum nämlich viel häufiger als die Kalkart Rhododendron hirsutum. Hybriden kann ich nicht ganz ausschließen, aber die stehen meist auf den eher neutralen Böden. Frage zu Steiermark_Vischer_1678.jpg[edit]

Ich bin ganz Begeistert von der Karte "Steiermark_Vischer_1678". Dazu die Frage: Das Bild ist mit 50MB schon ziemlich groß. Allerdings weißt es einige JPEG-Kompremierartefakte auf, die so ausschauen als hätte man die JPEG-Datei mehrfach geöffnet, bearbeitet (oder auch nicht) und wieder als JPEG gespeichert. Mir scheint, dass auch der obere Rand abgeschnitten ist. Gibt es das Bild noch in besserer Qualität, vielleicht sogar in einem Dateiformat, dass ohne Kompressions-Verluste arbeitet? Vielen Dank! Gern. Dass ich sie auf- und zugemacht habe und irgendwie mit einem alten Photoshop Kontrast oder Ähnliches verändert habe, kann schon sein. Ich verstehe von diesen Dingen nichts und hab mich halt herumgespielt. Ich wollte mal nachfragen wieso bei File:Aubach Unterlauf Perchtoldsdorf Wien.jpg {{PD-AustrianGov}} gesetzt ist. Ich kann mir nicht recht vorstellen, dass dieses Werk wirklich nach §7 UrhG gemeinfrei ist. Aus den Nutzungsbedingungen des NÖ Atlas: "Bei jeder Verwendung der über das Internet frei verfügbaren Produkte ist folgende vollständige Bezeichnung anzugeben und dadurch auf die Rechte des Landes Niederösterreich hinzuweisen: "(c) Land Niederösterreich, NÖ Atlas". Eine kommerzielle Nutzung der angebotenen Daten und Dienste ist nicht gestattet.
Als Alternative kann ich mir die Verwendung einer Karte von basemap.at vorstellen, welche unter einer Freien Lizenz verwendet werden kann. (siehe auch Template:Basemap.at)

hmm, hab ich nicht im Detail durchkonstruiert, aber: Wo siehst du hier ein "Werk" im Sinn des Urheberrechts, also eine eigentümliche geistige Leistung? Nur weil wer ein (c) wo hinschreibt, ändert das die Rechtslage nicht. Und dass das Land Niederösterreich z. B. auf die Katastergrenzen ein Urheberrecht geltend macht, stimmt (zumindest mich) etwas heiter. Das Bild ist eine technische Arbeit, keine Frage, aber aus meiner Sicht kein Werk. Das ist kein "Limbo unter die Schöpfungshöhe", sondern das Bild schafft es einfach nicht darüber. Nicht alles, was aus bunten Pixeln besteht, also vom Menschen als Bild gesehen wird, hat deswegen schon Schöpfungshöhe. Weil es sich um kein "Werk" im Sinn des Urheberrechts handelt, sondern um eine technische Aufnahme. Die individuelle Erarbeitung einer funktionellen und zweckmäßigen technischen Lösung ohne besonderen ästhetischen Gehalt der Planung, in der kein besonderer künstlerisch‑geistiger Formgedanke zum Ausdruck kommt, ist urheberrechtlich nicht geschützt. Da gibts eine Menge höchstgerichtlicher Entscheidungen, siehe nur hier. Völlig richtig. Siehe daher, wenn hier der § 7 zitiert und die Schöpfungshöhe erwähnt wurde, auch § 74 Abs. 7 UrhG: “(7) Die §§ 5, 7 bis 9, 11 bis 13, ... gelten für Lichtbilder ... entsprechend.” Aber ich muss hier nicht Recht haben, es würde mich nur interessieren, auf welcher konkreten Entscheidung oder Rechtslage oder auch nur WP-Regel (bitte keine Einzelmeinungen) die Nutzung des genannten Auszuges für WP berechtigterweise in Zweifel zu ziehen wäre (weil ein eigenes Bild ist das ja nicht, das sind ja Zusammenstellungen aus verschiedenen amtlichen Quellen). Der von mir oben genannte Satz über den Nicht-Schutz macht keinen Unterschied zwischen Text oder Malerbildern oder Lichtbildern. Vielleicht steht dazu auch was in den Hilfetexten (ich hab allerdings nicht konkret was gefunden, was auf die GIS-Systeme und deren Angebote zurückzuführen ist.--Josef Moser (talk) 21:29, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

mit diesen Nummern kommt kaum wer zurecht (ich auch nicht), leider ist auch die Sammlung in Commons ein Chaos, weil die Dateinamen sehr "flexibel" und ungenau vergeben wurden. In der Topothek finde ich allerdings auch nichts - dort sehe ich nur (zwei) Ausschnitte aus dem Franziszeischen Kataster (den erkennt man an den Grundstücksnummern, während die JosLA ja eine Militärkarte ist, der die Grundstücke egal waren bzw. es diese damals noch gar nicht gab), der Kataster ist ja auch etliche Jahrzehnte später als die Josefinische Landesaufnahme. Gasthaus, 1927: Anton Riedl's Café-Restaurant "Knödelhütte" (in Preitenegg, Kärnten?)[edit]

Hallo Josef, .. habe deine Ansichtskarte Knödelhüttein in der Category Preitenegg entdeckt. Es war mein Heimatort bzw. bin ich auf Hebalm groß geworden. Ja, es gibt eine "Knödelhütte" von der Agrargemeinschaft Preitenegg, die erst viel später erbaut worden ist und sich in Auerling (Packalpe) befindet.
Hier muss es sich um eine andere Knödelhütte handeln, aber nicht im Bergdorf Preitenegg.Sonn- und Feiertags Konzert, das wäre in diesem Bergdorf sehr unwahrscheinlich. Google sagt mir ebenfalls etwas anderes - siehe https://oldthing.at/AK-Wien-Knoedelhuette-Motiv-von-Anton-Riedl-s-Restauration-0038024686; ein derartig imposantes Gebäude hat es im Bergdorf Preitenegg (1074 m ü.A.) in den 20er Jahren nicht gegeben.

Oh ja, vielen Dank für die Erinnerung! Du hast völlig recht. Ich hatte diese Datei vorerst (ohnedies schon mit Zweifeln) in Preitenegg "geparkt", weil das die einzige Knödelhütte war, die ich in Erinnerung hatte und weil der Familienname mir für diesen Ort bekannt war, hab dann aber fast schon drauf vergessen. Ich bin eher auf der anderen Seite der Hebalm daheim und über den Steinbauerwirt bzw. Maxlhoisl nicht wirklich weiter ins Lavanttal hinausgekommen, das merkt man dann auch an solchen Zuschreibungen. Nähere Nachforschungen haben eindeutige Hinweise auf die Knödelhütte in Wien-Hütteldorf ergeben, nach der auch die dortige Knödelhüttenstraße benannt ist. Hallo Josef, Danke für die Erklärung und Erledigung. Komme noch oft auf die Hebalm und fahre in die Steiermark, wo ich meine Wurzeln habe. Immer wieder schön, auch wenn mit dem Aus des Skibetriebes die Ruhe eingekehrt ist. Das Langlaufzentrum und die Freiländerhütte (Familie Moser) besuche ich gerne. WikiDaheim 2023[edit]

Hallo Josef Moser, ich habe bemerkt, dass du Bilder von und über Österreich hochgeladen hast, etwa St Oswald Regen 2023-08-05 c.jpg und andere, die wunderbar in unseren jährlichen Fotowettbewerb WikiDaheim 2023 passen würden. Ich finde es schade, dass du deine Bilder nicht für den Wettbewerb nominiert hast, es würde den Wettbewerb bunter und breiter gestalten und deinen Bildern mehr Sichtbarkeit geben. Bilder nehmen automatisch am Wettbewerb teil, wenn du sie über Wikidaheim.at oder über eine der vielen Listen (Denkmallisten, Naturdenkmäler, Public Art, Immaterielles Kulturerbe, etc.) hochladest. Bilder, die nach dem 1. Juli hochgeladen wurden, können nachträglich mit dem Baustein {{WikiDaheim}} im passenden Themenbereich nominiert werden. Danke für deine Nachricht, ich freue mich darüber. Bitte habe aber Verständnis, dass ich mich nicht an Wettbewerben oder Kandidaturen irgendwelcher Art beteilige, davon hatte/habe ich im echten Leben schon ausreichend, manchmal zu viel. Für mich ist WP Freizeitbeschäftigung mit möglichst wenig Stress, das soll auch so bleiben. Abgesehen davon weiß ich woran es mir fehlt, wenn ich mir so die Bilder von anderen Fotografen anschaue, z. B. gerade jetzt das hier, da bleibt mir der Mund offen. Datumsangaben bei alten Dokumenten[edit]

Hallo Josef, zur Info: Beim Abfotografieren oder Sannen von alten Bildern, Dokumenten, Landkarten etc. soll nicht das Datum des Scans oder Abfotografierens oder Hochladens stehen, sondern von wann das gezeigte Ding stammt, bei Formularen das Datum der Ausfertigung etc. - je nachdem, wie es bekannt ist (also nur Jahr oder Jahr-Monat oder Jahr-Monat-Tag). Die ganzen Grundentlastungs-Dateien z.B. sollten also eigentlich ein Datum des 19. Jhs. haben. - Wenn das Datum völlig unbekannt ist, kann man "{{unknown}}" schreiben, das wird dann in die jeweiligen Sprachen automatisch übersetzt. Wenn ein bestimmter Zeitraum bekannt ist, kann man "{{between|YYYY|YYYY}}" schreiben. Entsprechend auch "{{before|YYYY}}" oder "{{after|YYYY}}". lg Eweht (talk) 13:44, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
