I'm very familiar with that section, and indeed the one following it, where you will find:

Some pages (deletion discussions, for example) use asterisks (*) rather than colons for indentation. Generally, colons and asterisks should not be mixed; if you see asterisks are being used in a page, use them as well.

Misspelling

Hello Jeff, reaching out to you this time for something you might be able to help: Karl Ral should be written Carl Rahl. I don't know about the flags on his user page. On the one hand, they have all the problems mention in the DR and he has no useful contributions. They removed the delete tag while removing all the flags, which in a way makes sense (even if they do not communicate very well – I guess CIR may apply). Anyway no reason to remove what is now left on their user page. Suggest the deletion request be speedily closed with no action unless the flags pop up again. --TU-nor (talk) 13:52, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

@Jtneill: Not well. You used {{subst:Delete2}} instead of {{Delete}}, and you didn't create the subpage or transclude it. Notifying yourself as uploader is optional, whereas notifying someone else as the uploader or page creator is not optional. Also, "{{FULLPAGENAME}}" gives bad results when transcluded. Instead of a manual deletion request, please try the automatic Nominate for deletion or Nominate category for discussion tool in the Tools menu on the sidebar per COM:DR#Starting requests and COM:CFD#Starting requests.
