I'm moving the discussion here from User talk:JuTa#Category:Hu stele. I do not think Category:Hu stele can be keep, because there is a serious mistake in this naming. In my opinion, this naming can be said to be self-created. You had asked me the question about creation log, as well as notified its creator. Yes, I did indeed not notified him. Commons File History Again!

Hello Jeff -- Tell me I'm not crazy, but from here it looks as if the exact opposite bug has now appeared in Commons "file history" tables. I'm seeing comments for all the old versions of a file, but no comments for the current version. Maybe it's just a fleeting mid-maintenance bug of some kind, but I plan to step away from the project for a day or two and can't keep checking. Do you see it too? Your perplexing response to the GPL

I believe your vote at Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Battle for Wesnoth title screen has aimed to mislead the administrators into keeping the file or makes no regard to the license conditions, whether intentional/willful or not. The deletion request was never about proof of something previously being licensed under X or Y, but GPLv2+ license compliance. Those files being under GPLv2+ was already established in the previous deletion request.

Any proposals should not have their outcome dependent on the results of votes, but well made arguments. It's not a voting contest.

Hallo Jeff G., Du beschuldigst mich, dass ich hier erneut Dateien hochgeladen habe. Dies ist leider nicht korrekt, da ich die letzte Datei am 7. August 2017 hochgeladen habe. Es sind lediglich Daten bei bestehenden Dateien nachgetragen worden. Deine Drohung ist also ziemlich überzogen.

Außerdem besteht eine aktuelle Diskussion zu dieser Problematik unter User talk:XenonX3. Ich bin mit diesem Benutzer dabei den Dateien in den nächsten Tagen eine passende Lizenz zu verpassen.

You might also want to know that two days ago, XenonX3 explained to Lothar that "own work" and CC licenses are a no-go for scanned images by third parties and that PD-1923 etc. is only applicable for files that were explicitely published before 1923. Laramie1960's photos

Hi Jeff G. I have seen that there was some movements on my Wikimedia Commons page yesterday. My first thought was: what have I done wrong? Time has gone by since I started to work almost daily on Wikipedia, but it is just not possible to remember everything. I like this idea to add the languages we are able to understand. I do hope I am able to add those cute little language boxes. About those tagged files, I am still waiting for an answer from the people in charge at OTRS, because I did sent to OTRS emails. They are very nice and helpful over there. There are only two photos left which I would love to see back online again. The file called Gérard Chambre, there I had been promised by the copyright holder (I know now, I can stamp my feet, even if the camera is mine, the holder is the one who takes the photo ;-) that she will write to Wikimedia. I do not know if she has done it yet. For the other photo I got no answer. I shall take the advice of th person who tagged it and write again to Wikimedia.
