Goodies, tips, and tricks

Da war meiner Ansicht nach alles in Ordnung bis auf Kleinigkeiten: Special:Diff/188415731/188583454. Es fehlte die Lizensierung für die USA. Das fehlt übrigens sehr häufig und ich ergänze es meistens. Das Template für das Ausschneiden gehört nach meiner Meinung nicht in die Infobox, zumindestens nicht in den Abschnitt für die anderen Versionen. --Speravir (Talk) 18:36, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ich würde für "Autor unbekannt" eine der "PD-anon" Vorlagen suchen, weil m.E. "unbekannter Autor seit 70 Jahren tot" albern klingt, aber als Löschgrund habe ich das noch nie gesehen, also vermutlich nur Geschmackssache und kein Problem. Thgoiter hat noch Datum und unbekannt internationalisiert, das ist auch gut für COM:MRD (wikidata). Der Bot, der das sonst macht, kann nur englisch. –Be..anyone (talk) 22:57, 24 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Vielen Dank für die Korrektur + Antwort. Was meint Ihr, könnte ich nun nach dem Strickmuster des hochgeladenen Beispiels die anderen PD-Old-70 Fotos (10-13, 15-17) auf commons hochladen, wenn ein de-wp Artikel fertig ist, oder sollte ich erst mal die eventuelle Löschung des gestrigen uploads abwarten? Klar, was soll schon schief gehen? Wenn ru löscht, weil auf commons, und dann im schlimmsten Fall commons löscht, könnte ru auch wiederherstellen. Aber etwas löschen, das auf ru+de in Benutzung ist, wäre hier erstmal regelwidrig, da müsste schon sehr ernsthaft was mit der Lizenz falsch sein. –Be..anyone (talk) 18:21, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, in o.g. neuen Artikel möchte ich das Foto en:File:Daniil Sulimov.jpg einfügen. Das steht aber nicht in commons, sondern in der en-wp. Die Englisch Sprechenden haben es meiner Ansicht nach aus der ru-wp: ru:Файл:Sulimov.jpg. Wie gehe ich vor? Muß ich etwas beantragen? Wenn ja, bei wem? Die enwiki-Seite hat als Quelle (source) das von Dir gefundene ruwiki-Bild (180x156, wird schon stimmen.) Also holst Du Dir das Bild da oder dort, und lädst es auf dewiki hoch, falls es dort eine ähnliche "fair use"-Regel wie auf enwiki gibt. Commons kommt bei nicht-freien Bildern gar nicht ins Spiel. –Be..anyone (talk) 16:20, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, das vereinfacht die Sache: ruwiki scheint das Bild für frei zu halten, und dann könnte es auch hier passen; was sagt denn Deine Lieblings-Übersetzungsmaschine zum ruwiki Text? –Be..anyone (talk) 16:20, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Subjekt starb 1937, somit Foto von 1937 oder früher; Fotograf anscheinend unbekannt. Das Lizenz-Bapperl heisst übrigens auch auf ru-WP "PD-Old"; siehe [1]. "PD-Old" ist bei unbekanntem Fotograf aber falsch, denn wenn dieser unbekannt ist, ist es sein Todesjahr ja wohl auch... also wenn schon, bräuchte das hier irgendein anderes Bapperl. Der WLM-Countdown hat begonnen[edit]

Hallo Hedwig Storch,

nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.

Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.

Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.

Seaplane[edit]

Sehr verehrte Frau Storch, sooo viiiele schöne Fotos auf Ihrer Benutzerseite! Ich hatte mir erlaubt den Text zu Ihrem prima Video leicht abzuändern, da sich "start" eines Flugzeuges im Englischen eher auf das Anlassen der Motoren bezieht. Leider weiß ich nicht WIE man den Titel zum Artikel ändert, würde aber auch dort, höflichst, vorschlagen in "Seaplane taking off" abzuändern! Beste Grüße Semut23A

Hallo Hedwig,

In der Category:Edmond Pierre Martin (richtig Pierre-Edmond Martin, mit Bindestrich bitte) habe ich in ein Wespennest gestochen. Der ist (bis Beweis des Gegenteils) kein Russe (ist in commons aber so kategorisiert) und nicht identisch mit dem in Russland tätigen Miniaturenmaler "E. Martin" (ebenfalls Franzose und bis Beweis des Gegenteils kein Russe), obwohl das in commons so verbreitet wird. Heiliges Durcheinander! Martin" auf "Autor: Edmond Pierre Martin" umgeändert wurde, und warum ???. Ich habe eine Category:E. Martin gespendet (mit frz. Kurzbiographie samt engl. Quellenangabe, vielleicht kannst Du das lesen) und habe begonnen, vorerst die Portraits dahin umzusortieren, bei denen man die Signatur "E. Martin" sogar deutlich lesen kann. Kannst Du helfen, da Ordnung reinzubringen, bzw. in russischen Quellen herausfinden, ob tatsächlich ein Beleg dafür existiert, das "E. Martin" mit "Pierre-Edmond Martin" gleichzusetzen ist? P.-E. Martin wurde 1783 geboren und war wohl um 1810 in kaiserlichen Kreisen angesehen, er stand dann in Paris als Restaurator ihrer Sammlungen in den Diensten führender Persönlichkeiten und war 1831 in Nähe in der rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (Hausnummer 56) ansässig (Dictionnaire des artistes de l'école française au XIXe, 1831). Hat er sich tatsächlich (im Alter von immerhin rund 50 Jahren) noch auf den Weg nach Russland gemacht? Wo steht das? Hallo Bohème, danke für Deine Ausführungen + die Literaturangabe. Alles, was mir über den Maler bekannt, ist habe, ich aus der Literaturstelle meines Artikels de:Pierre Edmond Martin. Anderes könnte Spekulation sein - z.B. wenn wir Deiner Frage nachgehen: War er in Rußland? Ich nehme an, die adligen Damen und Herren haben während ihrer Parisaufenthalte Modell gesessen. Ich muss mich missverständlich ausgedrückt haben. Es geht eigentlich weniger darum, heerauszufinden, wer wohin reiste obwohl das etwas Licht in die Geschichte brächte. Die Bilder sind nicht richtig beschriftet, nicht richtig kategorisiert und Pierre-Edmond Martin "untergeschoben" worden. Einige tragen deutlich sichtbar die Signatur "E. Martin" und dahinter die für diesen bisher nicht identifizierten Maler charakteristische Nummerierung. Letzterer wird im Kunsthandel als "E. Martin" geführt (z. B. dort auf halber Höhe der Seite). Dass er mit Pierre-Edmond Martin identisch sein könnte ist eine aus der Luft gegriffene Vermutung, für die - auch nach ausführlicher Recherche inklusive Bibliotheksanfrage - nicht der geringste Beleg aufzufinden ist. Ich werde sie also umbeschriften, umkategorisieren und sofern sie unter einem falschem Titel hochgeladen wurden auch umbenennen, wenn es genehm ist. Hallo Hedwig, ich habe leider eine schlechte Nachricht: Das Foto Pjotr Wladimirowitsch Karpowitsch.jpg wird vermutlich gelöscht werden. Obwohl ich das unter den gegebenen Umständen ziemlich unsinnig finde, hat Jcb rein formaljuristisch recht. Auch wenn (zumindest nach meinem) gesunden Menschenverstand sowohl das Foto vor 1924 veröffentlicht wurde, als auch mit einer Wahrscheinlichkeit von 99% der Fotograf mehr als 70 Jahre tot sein dürfte, kann ich beides nicht nachweisen. :-( --Stepro (talk) 21:29, 8 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Category:August Gottlieb Meißner[edit]

Could you explain why File:Mozart's 'La clemenza di Tito' A Reappraisal.pdf belongs in Category:August Gottlieb Meißner? I know about the provenance of „una porcheria tedescha“ via Alfred Meißner, and about August Gottlieb Meißner's text to a cantata by Koželuch which was given together with Tito, and both these are mentioned in the book. But is that enough to put it into that category? Seems very marginal to me. The book mentions hundreds of people; surely it doesn't belong in all those people's categories. Wiki Loves Monuments 2020[edit]

Hallo Hedwig_Storch,

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2020 findet zum zehnten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Obwohl es den Wettbewerb seit zehn Jahren gibt, sind immer noch viele Motive überall in Deutschland zu fotografieren. Neben beeindruckenden märchenhaften Schlössern, Burgen und Kirchen können auch andere Kulturdenkmale wie Brücken, Industrieruinen, Bauernhöfe oder Parks fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. In den letzten Jahren sind zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden, die sich über Fotos freuen. Es haben sich auch Kulturdenkmale verändert, sie wurden saniert oder umgestaltet. Diese Entwicklung kann auch gezeigt werden. Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Du bist interessiert, am Wettbewerb mitzuwirken, dir fehlt aber die richtige Technik? Dann wirf doch mal einen Blick in den Technikpool und das Technikleihportal von Wikimedia Deutschland! Dort findest du Kameras, Objektive und Zubehör verschiedenster Art.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab 5. September 2020 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2020 in Deutschland. Moin! Ich mache mal einen kleinen Exkurs. Um eine Verknüpfung für die Infobox nutzen zu können (und keine QId fest angeben zu müssen), wird nur {{Wikidata Infobox}} benötigt. Hier wird intern {{#invoke:WikidataIB |getQid |qid={{{qid|}}} }} aufgerufen und dies liefert die QId passend zum Kategorienamen. Das kleine Stück Quelltext kann man auf einer Kategorieseite unterbringen und mal auf Vorschau klicken. Es sollte die QId angezeigt werden. In den Untiefen der Quelltexte findet man - zumindest halbwegs -, dass diese QId aus der Eigenschaft Commons category (P373) ermittelt wird. Das ist aber aus meiner Sicht etwas für Insider, ich habe es experimentell (dank mancher Hinweise im Quelltext) ermittelt.
Bei Wikidata ist nun die Eigenschaft (Aussage) Commons category (P373) zu pflegen. (Es gibt darüber hinaus auch noch Commons gallery (P935) für Galerieseiten.) Diese Eigenschaft ist die, die zählt. Wenn sowohl die Commons-Kategorie mit dem Template {{Wikidata Infobox}} (ohne Parameter) versehen wurde als auch der dazugehörige Wikidata-Eintrag mit der Eigenschaft Commons category (P373) versorgt worden ist, ist alles erledigt. Wurde zuerst das Template eingetragen, kann es sein, dass noch einmal ein Purge bei der Kategorie in Commons nötig ist (wenn es im Menü freigeschaltet ist). Caches etc. sorgen manchmal zu einer Verzögerung.
Am Rande: Es gibt auch die Verweise auf andere Websites (Links) und auch dort ist Commons möglich. Das ist die Stelle, die du oft genutzt hast. Hier gibt es tatsächlich einen Bot, der den Verweis aus der Eigenschaft Commons category (P373) liest und dort einträgt. Umgekehrt kann es auch sein, habe ich aber noch nicht gesehen. Es ist blöd, dass es zwei Stellen gibt. Irgendwo bei Wikidata gibt es auch eine Diskussion dazu. Zwei Stellen sind redundant und damit fehleranfällig. Ich trage tatsächlich immer beide ein, da es insbesondere bei den Links manchmal eine Fehlermeldung gibt, dass die Commons-Kategorie bereits einem anderen Eintrag zugeordnet ist. Das ist ein Indiz, dass irgendetwas falsch eingetragen wurde. Leider musste ich schon zu oft feststellen, dass Link und Eigenschaft unterschiedlichen Wikidata-Einträgen zugeordnet waren.

Zum Abend noch eine kurze Antwort:
Zu 1.: Die Änderung in Wikidata (das Eintragen der Kategorie als Eigenschaft) wirkt im Grunde sofort. Das einzige Hindernis sind Caches. Aus Performancegründen werden die Seiten nicht live aufgebaut, sondern generiert und zwischengespeichert, gecached. Wenn der Cache nicht gelöscht wird, siehst du noch die alte Seite, wird er gelöscht, siehst du sofort die Änderungen. Wenn du nichts unternimmst, kann es schon mal eine Weile dauern, bis du die richtigen, aktuellen Daten siehst.
Zu 2. Das ist halt so eine Stelle, wo das Eintragen der Daten noch nicht alle erforderlichen Optionen bietet.
Zu 3. Mit "Purge" wird der unter (1) genannte Zwischenspeicher/Cache gelöscht und die Seite muss neu aufgebaut werden. Damit werden dann auch die aktuellen Daten sichtbar. Das verkürzt die Wartezeiten ungemein. ;-) Schau mal hier: Help:Purge. Wenn du eine Kategorie als Eigenschaft bei Wikidata einträgst, gehst du wieder auf die Kategorie, setzt das Purge ab und siehst deine Änderungen.

Wiki Loves Earth 2021[edit]

Hallo Hedwig_Storch,

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. Mai bis zum 31. Mai 2021 findet zum neunten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth statt. Deutschland ist zum achten Mal dabei. Dabei können unter anderem Nationalparks, Naturschutzgebiete, Geotope und Naturdenkmäler fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Wie du bei den Top 5 des vergangenen Jahres siehst, sind vor allem Tiere unter den Siegerbildern. Aus diesem Grund setzen wir den Fokus dieses Jahr stärker auf Landschaftsaufnahmen. Aber natürlich haben auch Tierbilder eine Chance zu gewinnen.

Es sind wie immer viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu finden. Neben Naturdenkmälern wie alten Bäumen oder Naturparks im Gebirge und am Meer können Geotope wie Findlinge, Quellen und Aufschlüsse oder FFH-Gebiete fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. Auch im vergangenen Jahr sind zahlreiche neue Listen und Artikel in diesen Bereichen entstanden, für die wir uns über Fotos freuen. Als Einstieg für die Suche nach Motiven hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du bei WLE 2021 - Deutschland und unter dieser Anleitung. Falls du im Moment nicht wie sonst in die Natur fahren kannst, findest du vielleicht in den Tiefen deiner Festplatte oder auf dem Smartphone noch interessante Fotos.

Du bist interessiert, am Wettbewerb mitzuwirken, dir fehlt aber die richtige Technik? Dann wirf doch mal einen Blick in den Technikpool und das Technikleihportal von Wikimedia Deutschland! Dort findest du Kameras, Objektive und Zubehör verschiedenster Art.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, vom 1. Mai bis 30. Juni 2021 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Damit bewertest du die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelst so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Juli tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Earth 2021 in Deutschland. Glocknerkees und Pasterze[edit]

Hallo Hedwig Storch, ist Dein Foto File:1024 Über der Pasterze gen Großglockner-2989.jpg das Glocknerkees? Oder das nebenan bzw in welcher Höhe und ist das noch ein Eisfall oder nur ein Abbruch? bin mir da noch unsicher. Und sollte es vielleicht für de:Großglockner#Auswirkungen des Gletscherschwundes einen Vergleich zu heute geben? Vielleicht macht [der auch über die Entwicklung der schwindenden Pasterze traurige Benutzer Watzmann] ja eine Reise um aktuelle Fotos für 2021 zu machen, wenn Du nett fragst? Meine (Foto)Ausrüstung ist sowieso nicht ganz optimal, mein Zustand eher subsuboptimal, die Fahrt derzeit wegen Coronaeinschränkungen noch weiter und kompliziert, ich weiss ja nicht wie es Dir geht; ausserdem nerve ich schon seit Jahrzehnten so mit "Klimawandel", sanftem klimaneutralem Tourismus und so, kann aber selber inzwischen kaum noch fahrradfahren und nicht allzuweit laufen. --LudwigSebastianMicheler (talk) 16:46, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Loves Monuments 2021[edit]

Hallo Hedwig Storch,

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2021 findet zum elften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Obwohl es den Wettbewerb seit über zehn Jahren gibt, sind immer noch viele Motive überall in Deutschland zu fotografieren. Im Herzen Deutschlands in Thüringen und in Niedersachsen sind neue Denkmallisten entstanden, die auf Fotos warten. Übrigens in der Hauptstadt Thüringens in Erfurt findet dieses Jahr die WikiCon vom 1. bis 3. Oktober statt. Dies könnte man mit einem Foto-Kurzurlaub vor der WikiCon in Thüringen verbinden …

Vor dem Hintergrund der Flutkatastrophe 2021 haben wir auch drei Sonderpreise ausgelobt. Damit sollen Fotos prämiert werden, die Kulturdenkmale zeigen, die zerstört wurden. Das Foto kann das Objekt vor oder nach der Zerstörung zeigen.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Sieger 2021 – Schloss Langenburg

Vergangenes Jahr hat Matthias Süßen mit einer Drohnenaufnahme von Schloss Langenburg im Morgennebel gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf wird dieses Jahr sein Nachfolger?

Nach WLM 2022 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel die Denkmallisten in Cloppenburg oder in Oldenburg.

Wir haben dieses Jahr unter dem Motto „Klein aber Oho“ drei Sonderpreise für Kleindenkmale ausgelobt. Damit sollen Fotos prämiert werden, die die unterschätzten Kleindenkmale wie Grenzsteine oder Bildstöcke zeigen.
