Thanks for uploading Image:Borobudur Aerial Vew.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multilicense GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Wolters (pengarang antara lain buku The Fall of Sriwijaya in Malay History), para peneliti tidak lagi menganggap bahwa Sriwijaya menguasai wilayah yang luas. Penguasaan wilayah itu gagasan "Barat". Orang Melayu, dan orang Nusantara pada umumnya, mementingkan hubungan dan jaringan. Dari segi wilayah, Sriwijaya hanya terdiri dari daerah yang sekarang namanya Palembang (lihat Manguin, Pierre-Yves, "The amorphous nature of coastal polities in insular Southeast Asia", Moussons, 5, 2002). Thank you for your contributions to Commons. I noticed you blanked Cuisine of Betawi on Commons. I asume you meant for the page to be deleted, but blanking the page is not the right way to do this. I'd like to strongly recommend to use {{speedy| type reason here }} and add it on top of the page you would like to have deleted; This way it will be placed on a special list that administrators check regulary for deletion. A suggestion
Hello, just wondering if you could make the title text in the graphic File:History of Indonesia.png a little easier to read. At small sizes, it's hard to read "History of Indonesia". Logo-nya bagus
Andai saja Anda membuat semua logo provinsi/kabupaten/kota di Indonesia menjadi svg. Pakai program apa, tuh supaya logonya jadi svg (seperti Logo Jateng)? Apakah bisa mengkonversi dari format jpg/png ke Inkscape? (Ezagren (talk) 14:20, 23 August 2010 (UTC)).

Re:Why Taman Mini Indonesia Indah files deleted ?
The map had Taman Mini Indonesia Indah logo embedded and as you can read in http://www.tamanmini.com/index.php?modul=home&lang=eng there is a clear copyright warning Copyright © 2006-2009, TAMAN MINI INDONESIA INDAH. And neither the deleted map nor the new version you have upload today have EXIF data, as the program you used to draw it so, if you copied it from a brochure and then modified it yourself it is a derivative work, not your own work. As for the logo File:TMII Logo.svg, it is not simple geometric shapes and/or text it has an original design which is likely copyrighted by the site, therefore I have opened a deletion request. - I think there's no problem with the map now you have removed the logo.
You say: I think it is okay to redraw the logo for information sakes in wikimedia (there's tons of other logos lurking in wikimedia anyway) Well, you must remember Wikimedia Commons accepts only free content, that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, anytime, for any purpose. An usage for information sakes would be the equivalent of a fair use license, which isn't allowed here and the fact that there are tons of other logos doesn't justify another non permitted one must stay. Tip: Categorizing images
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]][[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Indonesia Freedom of Panorama
Halo Gunkarta. Maaf mengganggu, sekadar memberi tahu saja. Pengguna MGA73 sedang mempermasalahkan Freedom of Panorama di Indonesia. Dalam pedoman FOP#Indonesia juga dicantumkan bahwa di Indonesia tidak ada Freedom of Panorama.

- Bila pemahaman saya tidak salah, "Anda ingin mengabaikan urusan Freedom of Panorama untuk menghindari kerugian banyak sekali foto tentang Indonesia yang harus dihapus dari Wikimedia Commons".
- Saya berpendapat masalah ini bukan untuk didiamkan begitu saja. Foto-foto tentang tugu, monumen, dan arsitektur Indonesia--bangunan baru--cepat atau lambat akan dihapus tanpa alasan jelas.
- Masalah FOP#Indonesia akan terus berlanjut ke kontributor lainnya yang menyumbang foto Indonesia ke Commons. Bahkan masalah ini akan berlanjut ke generasi-generasi berikutnya... setelah kita berdua tidak dapat memotret lagi karena mata sudah terlalu tua dan kedua belah tangan selalu gemetar untuk dapat memotret.
- Not OK di FOP#Indonesia menurut pendapat saya, tidak benar. Apakah penulis FOP#Indonesia itu membaca UU dari terjemahan bahasa Inggris? Apakah penulis dapat membaca bahasa Indonesia? Siapa pun dapat mengatakan tidak boleh untuk hal-hal yang tidak diketahui pasti.
- Saya asumsikan di Freedom of Panorama itu ditulis Not OK karena tidak ada pasal yang secara eksplisit menyebutkan mengenai soal itu di UU No.19 Tahun 2002 tentang Hak Cipta.
- Bagian Keempat, Ciptaan yang Dilindungi, Pasal 12 Butir (1) Huruf l:
- l. terjemahan, tafsir, saduran, bunga rampai, database, dan karya lain dari hasil pengalihwujudan.
- Ini berarti bahwa karya turunan (derivative works) diperbolehkan karena karya lain dari hasil pengalihwujudan dilindungi sebagai ciptaan tersendiri sesuai butir selanjutnya:
- Pasal 12 Butir (2)
- (2) Ciptaan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam huruf l dilindungi sebagai Ciptaan tersendiri dengan tidak mengurangi Hak Cipta atas Ciptaan asli.
- Jadi, pengalihwujudan diperbolehkan asalkan "tidak mengurangi Hak Cipta atas Ciptaan asli".
- Pengalihwujudan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam huruf l dijelaskan lebih lanjut dalam Lembaran Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 2002 Nomor 85 mengenai Pasal 12 Ayat (1) Huruf l
- ... Yang dimaksud dengan pengalihwujudan adalah pengubahan bentuk, misalnya dari bentuk patung menjadi lukisan, cerita roman menjadi drama, drama menjadi sandiwara radio dan novel menjadi film.
- "Kalau patung boleh dijadikan lukisan, maka patung juga boleh difoto."
- Pasal-pasal di atas, menurut interpretasi saya, dapat dijadikan dasar Freedom of Panorama di Indonesia.

- Bagian Ketiga, Hak Cipta atas Ciptaan yang Penciptanya Tidak Diketahui
- (2) Negara memegang Hak Cipta atas folklor dan hasil kebudayaan rakyat yang menjadi milik bersama, seperti cerita, hikayat, dongeng, legenda, babad, lagu, kerajinan tangan, koreografi, tarian, kaligrafi, dan karya seni lainnya.

- Kalau boleh sedikit koreksi---lisensi (Partially) OK dengan pengecualian memperbolehkan untuk pendidikan, non-komersial (CC-NC), menyebutkan sumber dengan lengkap---sepertinya tidak sesuai dengan lisensi Commons (CC-BY). Pengertian saya mungkin salah, tapi Pasal 15 kemungkinan besar lebih dekat ke fair use.
- Pasal 14 lebih tepat dipakai untuk partial Freedom of Panorama karena monumen dan marka tanah dimiliki oleh pemerintah---dan termasuk domain publik Pemerintah Indonesia, hasil kebudayaan rakyat yang menjadi milik bersama dan karya seni lainnya. Deletion nominations
Sorry for the enormous wall of notifications! I didn't mean to pick on you. It's just that normally when I see a good-faith uploading of a photo-of-a-photo (the first nomination) I check through an uploader's files to make sure there aren't more issues. It's common not to know about freedom of panorama--that's most of the nominations. All the best, and thanks for all your other awesome Indonesia photos! - I am not sure I would readily accept the interpretation as a totally thorough reading of FOP law in Indonesia - the point is that there are hundreds of borobudur photos on commons - and in my interpretation, the Indonesian government could be said to be custodian at national level of the monument - but they would have very hard battle with millions of images of the monument that exist on the internet and in published items... however the cop out is it is over 1,000 years old and out of doors... but nevertheless it costs to enter borobudur - so one part of the law can be implied - costs to get in - copyright versus free of charge no FOP restriction. I would also point out the english link at the FOP indonesian section is lost, and I would suggest there is more to the subject than meets the eye... SatuSuro (talk) 07:06, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

- Why do you believe that freedom of panorama in Indonesia is unclear and debatable? Can you show me something in Indonesian law indicating that COM:FOP is incorrect as it relates to Indonesia?
