Hallo - Danke dass du auf den Commons mitmachst. Leider muss ich gleich mit was unangenehmen kommen: Image:Buch Der7Sinn.jpg ist eine urheberrechtsverletzung. Du hast keinerlei Rechte an Material das du einscannst, alle Rechte liegeb beim Verlag. Und der wird die kaum freigeben. Hallo Rodasmith, könntest du bitte helfen ein bild auf den commons auszutauschen. Das Bild Image:Attention niels epting 01.png liegt jetzt als svg-version vor: Image:Attention niels epting.svg. Um das png auf den commons löschen zu können müßte hier in en.wiktionary auf der gesperrten Seite MediaWiki:Uploadtext das bild gegen die svg-version ausgetauscht werden. Speedy my mag cover

• Scans or reproductive photographs of copyrighted artwork, especially book covers, album/CD covers, etc

• Models, masks, toys, and other objects which represent a copyrighted work, such as a cartoon or movie character (rather than just a particular actor, regardless of a specific role)

Image copyrights

Hi, thanks for leaving the message letting me know about possible image deletions. I have expanded the description of why the image is free for use and added a tag. The web site owner was happy to donate the image so that we could create a repository of images to support an article within wikipedia. The image is Image:AC9.jpg. Please, you have added a label indicating that there is not information regarding ownership on the image Sainte Colombe. jpg and this is not correct. I have indicated that the original author is Horacio Bollini and that I have the permission to publish it in commons. Hi, I was going thru Category:Duplicates and saw that you had tagged Image:Carl Laemmle.jpg as duplicate to Image:Adolph Zukor.jpg that you uploaded. Bild löschen

Hallo GeorgHH Danke für das Löschen meines doppelten Bildes. Wußte nicht ,wie ich meinen Fehler selbst bereinigen konnte. Gibt es da einen Trick, daß ich das selbst machen kann, oder muß das ein Admin machen? Kannst Du vieleicht auch einen Eintrag in Wikipedia löschen? Bilder die du selbst mit falschem Namen oder doppelt hochgeladen hast, markiere einfach mit {{Bad name}}. Ein Admin wird es dann löschen.

Wenn Du in Commons:Deletion requests/BVerfG pictures reinschaust, wirst Du sehen, dass es geklappt hat. Das {{Delh}} liegt vor der Überschrift und wird, wenn Du auf edit neben der Überschrift klickst nicht angezeigt, weil es eben vor der Überschrift liegt. --

cat lace

please could you recat my images, i've put a lot of work, now they are double categorated in lace. I don't agree with this way of working. this is a private collection and should stay like that. This is not just Lace. Carolus 19:15, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

You can have a private collection, this is undisputed. But to allow others to find the images you uploaded, the images should be placed in a appropriate category and/or gallerie in the article namespace too. If the images are placed in your personal gallery only, other user can't find them. Commons are not a webspace provider for only privat images. --GeorgHH 20:37, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Don't misunderstand: i respect your work on commons, and it's also ok if you change the category. Nobody is perfect, me neither. It was not my intention to suggest you that your personal collection is wrong.

In first order i look for categorising the images. If it's done, any user can find them and change them eventually to a better cat. And when collection of lace is better than lace, so please create a new gallery or category. --GeorgHH 23:41, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Museum der Arbeit

Moin Georg, habe drei Bilder von der Außenstelle des Museums auf dem Kleinen Grasbrook eingetragen. Dabei fiel mir auf, daß Du "Museum der Arbeit" mit "museum of work" übersetzt hast. Da das Museum sich überwiegend mit der Geschichte der Erwerbsarbeit beschäftigt, müßte die Übersetzung doch aber "museum of labour" heißen, oder irre ich mich da? --Mogelzahn 11:53, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Moin, da du dich auf dem Gebiet der Architektur auskennst, könntest du eventuell die Bilder der Kategorie besseren Kategorien zuordnen? Category:Restoration habe ich nur in die Kategorie Buildings and structures eingeordnet weil sie bei den nicht kategorisierten Kategorien gelistet war. Das Foto ist von mir persönlich gemacht worden. Also gibt es keine Rechtsveletzung. Warum wird es trotzdem gelöscht? Weil ich für die Verwendung nur Wikimedia-Projekte freigegen hatte?? Gruß Thomas

Hallo Thomas, die Verwendung der Dateien auf commons muss jedem für jeden Zweck gestattet sein (siehe Commons:Lizenzen). Da das Bild nur für wikipedia freigegeben war wurde es gelöscht. --GeorgHH 10:40, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

What's the problem?

The picture has no copyright status like {{Cc-by-sa-2.5}} or {{PD-user-w}}. An image transfered to commons must have all original informations, without a free license the image is not usable on commons. --GeorgHH 10:56, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
