Deletion Discussions

Hi. I suggest you take a look at Threshold of originality or en:Threshold of originality. Not everything that exists can be and is protected by copyright. We currently do not have specific rules on Iceland, but the assumption used for most other countries most likely applies here to: It needs a certain originality (artistic or creative work) for something to be protected by copyright. Ordinary buildings, which every architect can do and which share a common architecture fail to archieve that. --PaterMcFly (talk) 12:00, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Ja, das gilt für "Häuser von der Stange". Aber bei größeren Gebäuden werden bereits in den Proportionen, der Fassadengestaltung und der Anordnung "schöpferische Leistungen" verlangt. Die Tatsache, dass jeder Architekt sowas erstellen kann, hat mit der Schöpfungshöhe nichts zu tun - alle studieren Architektur. Fingalo (talk) 12:25, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Weiß nicht so recht. Die Fassadengestaltung durch die Fensteranordnung ist sooo gewöhnlich nicht. Um nicht missverstanden zu werden: Ich will nicht "fundamentalistisch" Bilder vertreiben. Wenn aber bei einem Bauwerk der Architekt namentlich genannt wird, oder der Architekt auf seiner Internetseite das Bauwerk als eigene Leistung besonders aufführt, dann ist das für mich schon ein Indiz, dass das nicht als "von der Stange" angesehen wird. Ein Löschantrag ist ein Diskussionsforum. Ich rette die Bilder, die ich vorschlage, auf die deutsche WP, zB. Siglingastofnun. Dort erhalten sie nach einer Weile einen bedingten Löschungsvermerk für den Fall, dass sie hier behalten werden, z.B. hier. Dann werden sie halt wieder gelöscht. Aha, Ok, dann verstehen wir uns hier schon eher. Deine Reihenlöschanträge gegen isländische Bauten sahen für mich zunächst leider schon wie Löschtrollerei aus. Ich räume gerade mal die Kategorie Island auf, stelle für die rechtswidrigen bilder Löschanträge und bereinige und vervollständige die Kategorisierungen, da ich selbst viele Bilder dort auf meinen jährlichen Besuchen mache. Übrigens: Ein typisches Beispiel, wo auch ich bei einem größeren Bauwerk mangelnde Schöpfungshöhe anerkenne, ist in Category:Psychiatric Hospitals in Iceland zu sehen. Gegen Löschtrollerei spricht auch, dass eine Reihe meiner eigenen Bilder darunter ist, die ich in Unkenntnis der Rechtslage hier hochgeladen hatte. Fingalo (talk) 10:51, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

Vielen Dank für's Retten. Im ersten Fall halte ich den Löschantrag für totalen Schwachsinn - wieso soll man in Frankreich keine Panoramen fotografieren und veröffentlichen dürfen? - beim zweiten scheint es wirklich so ein ubskures Gesetzt zu geben. Deswegen wurden auch schon meine Bilder von der Halgrimskirche gelöscht. Wenn Du es für sinnvoll halten solltest, daß ich die noch mal in die deutsche WikiPedia einstelle (rette), kann ich das auch gerne machen. Allerdings befürchte ich, daß auch hier die Rechtslage nicht anders ist und sie auch hier entfernt werden müßten, oder? Andreas Tille (talk) 11:15, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Frankreich kennt keine Panoramafreiheit. Ich bin nur zufällig darauf gestoßen. Die Hallgrimskirchenbilder habe ich bereits hierhin gerettet. Guck mal, ob Deine dabei sind. Gegebenenfalls rufe sie auf und kontrolliere die Angaben. Übrigens gilt das Schutzlandprinzip, d.h. es gilt das Recht des Landes der Veröffentlichung. Und hier gilt die Panoramafreiheit. Ich verstehe nicht mal den Begriff "Panoramafreiheit" und die sich daraus ergebenden Implikationen bezüglich des besagten Bildes erschließen sich mir auch nicht. Ich habe mal mein erstes Bild [1] nach de.w.o hochgeladen. Leider funktioniert es nicht (oder nicht so), die Templates von commons.wikimedia.org für die Beschreibung zu verwenden und das Anlegen einer Template ist mir auch nicht gelungen. Hallo, meine neuen Bilder in Commons wurden von dir angemahnt. Die Bilder stammen wirklich von mir, ich betreue die Website von obeko und habe die Grafiken selbst erstellt. Ich habe auch ausdrücklich die Erlaubnis, die Bilder für Wikipedia zu verwenden, um die Artikel zu illustrieren. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Dipl-ing-metaller Bitte hilf mir, was nun zu tun ist. --Dipl. Two things:

A very minor point:

"Image is only free for non-commercial use until 70 years following the architect's death per COM:FOP#Iceland," is the opposite of what you want to say. "Until" means "up to the time of" or "before the specified time".

You might say,

"Image is only free for non-commercial use beginning 70 years following the architect's death per COM:FOP#Iceland."

Skua pictures question

Hi there, thanks for your lovely skua photos from Iceland. I do have a question about File:Skua 2.jpg and File:Skua 4.jpg, though. It seems as if the skua is displaying territorial behaviour and attacking the person in the picture. However, I wasn't there, so I can't say for sure. Nö, hatte ich nicht. Als ich sah, dass das bild quer lag, bin ich sofort auf die Originaldatei gegangen, hab sie gedreht und drübergeladen, ohne noch weiter auf den Seiteninhalt zu achten. Und nachher dachte ich, wer weiß, wann der Bot da irgendwas macht. Hiwe auf Commons ist man ja nicht so schnell, wie man an den abgeschlossenen Löschdiskussionen sieht, die dann noch nach einem Monat und später zu sehen sind. Wir bekommen täglich meist mehr als 100 Löschanträge. Und das sind meist nur die strittigen Sachen. Gelöscht werden täglich sicherlich über 400 Dateien. Die meisten kümmern sich gar nicht um ihre uploads geschweige das Urheberrecht. Was nicht sofort ausgemistet wird liegt dann auf unserer Müllhalde. Am 5. Ja, in letzter Zeit geht's deutlich rascher. Die Hallgrímskirche hat Monate da gestanden, obgleich es sich bei den (inzwischen gelöschten) Bildern um klare Urheberrechtsverletzungen gehandelt hat, bis ich irgendeinen Admin mal darauf hingewiesen habe. Da waren sie alle weg. Aber manchmal geht's halt auch in die Hose, so bei einem Bild meines Sohnes, das ebenfalls eine URV darstellt, weil es in Island keine Panoramafreiheit gibt. Ich hab' das Bild auf de.WP gerettet. In der Diskussion dachten die Diskutanten, es gehe um die beiden Figürchen vor dem Museum und lehnten ab. Der Admin entschied auch so. Aber um die ging's gar nicht, sondern um das Museum selbst, das der Bildhauer für sich entworfen hatte. Neuauflage der Debatte wurde nicht zugelassen. Naja - mir ist's egal. Früher gab's unter den Löschrichtlinien eine Option, eine ganze Gruppe en bloc zu löschen. Finde ich nicht mehr. Währe bei der Category:Einar Jónsson angebracht. Alle Bilder - außer das letzte aus USA - wurden in Reykjavík vor seinem Museum gemacht. Sie sind alle auf de.WP gerettet. Manchmal passiert mir das jetzt noch, wenn ich zu spät das zu späte Todesdatum ergoogle. Diese alle sind klare URV's. Ich habe sie selbst hochgeladen zu einer Zeit, als ich von den isländischen Sonderbestimmungen noch nichts wusste. Jetzt ist's mir zu mühsam, bei jedem das Formular da auszufüllen. Sieh' mal auf meine Seite User talk:Rillke/AjaxMassDelete.js. Wenn Du JavaScript aktiviert hast, kannst Du es ganz leicht installieren. (Die Grafik oben rechts anklicken.) Danach gehst Du einfach zu der Kategorie und drückst den Knopf "perform batch task" und dann auf weiter. Dann kommt ein großer Kasten. Irgendwie bekam ich das Kästchen erst mal nicht, sondern nur die Javascriptzeile. un dann heißt es: "Script asks for the contributor. Make sure you spell him/ her correctly", also habe ich mich da eingetragen. Jetzt habe ich das Kästchen, da kommen aber nur meine eigenen Bilder. Wenn ich "einfach zur Kategorie gehe, da ist kein Knopf "perform batch task". Wieso auch. Sehr schön, aber die Uploader sind nicht informiert. Bei dreien bin ichs nicht (das sind die untersten in der Liste). (Außerdem informiere ih mich immer selbst, um den Erfolg zu überwachen) und Benutze {{delete|reason=Image is only free for non-commercial use until 70 years following the artist's death per [[COM:FOP#Iceland]].}} als Begründung. Danke. Und das nächste Mal bitte aufpassen. ;) Denn: So wirklich rentieren tut sich das Verschieben nicht. Vielen Dank. Die Skulpturen stehen alle in einem öfentlich zugänglichen Museumspark vor dem Museum. Sie stehen alle in Island, Reykjavík. EinarJonssonEarth ist freigestellt, aber auch im Park. Es ist die gleiche Skulptur wie Einar_Jónsson06.jpg. Fingalo (talk) 07:33, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
