Warning[edit]

Do not reupload deleted content. Jcb (talk) 21:28, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jcb: They have no business being removed though. They are my original works, and you removed them for "not meeting copyright standards." I kindly ask you to restore them. Drassow (talk) 21:39, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

He's not going to do that. The only advice I can give you right now is to be careful and not say or do anything uncivil, also don't reupload anything. The only thing that will be helpful is if you admit that some of the files you had uploaded were not properly licensed and you understand what you had done wrong. I can't see those other files so I don't know.
COM:UDR is the place to request undeletion. I can't guarantee it'll work. Another photo of the exact same weapon could also help. This time, please pick a white background. If that's not possible, green or another bright color. The background will be easier to remove. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 23:14, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks!

@Jeff G.: When have I not been civil? I pointed out that Jcb has been blatantly lying and has a conflict of interest in judging the matter. He claims the file is "all over the internet" which is a lie, only links to the wiki version are available. I have multiple images of the same rifle, as it is mine, the notable one exceeding the resolution that I have posted on wikimedia, kept for the sake of proving I have ownership over the image. You claim actions can be taken, but when such conflicts of interest are allowed in the face of so much evidence to the contrary point, it's questionable whether your words have any credence. Thanks for uploading File:1930 Vatican City 1 lire.png. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.
