I'm a new member of the german Wikipedia community and want to improve and correct some articles about Paczkow, Poland and Nysa, Poland (and other villages and towns in Silesia). I'm going to add some of my pictures to the WK Commons.
I express my hope of being a suitable member of the community and a partner going to help everybody in the following subjects: German language and literature, Geography and History of Germany. I'm going to start with the lemmata Paczkow, Poland and Nysa, Poland.

Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Hallo Didi, bitte nicht die einzelnen Bilder in Cultural heritage monuments in Bavaria by City und in Ladkreis Freising einordnen, sondern direkt Cultural heritage monuments in Langenbach (und parallel dazu in Buldings in Langenbach!). Darüber sind sie dann automatisch schon in den anderen Kategorien eingeordnet.
Noch besser nicht die einzelnen Bilder in Cultural heritage monuments in Langenbach und Buldings in Langenbach einordnen, sondern eine eigene kategorie bilden (habe ich z.B. gerade mit St. Nikolaus gemacht) und die Bilder dort einbinden. Dann muss nur die Kategorie St. Nikolaus in die Oberkategorie eingebunden werden, damit sind die einzelnen Bilder automatisch auch dort erfasst. Grüße --Bjs (talk) 13:02, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Lieber Bjs, ich hoffe, dass Du diese Seite beobachtest. Ich werde Deinem Rat folgen und so verfahren, wie Du es vorgeschlagen hast. Ich wollte einfach nur die gesamte Kopiervorlage für eine Gemeinde - angewandt auf Langenbach - auf meine hochgeladenen Bilder übertragen und so beim Tun lernen. Ich durchschaue aber noch nicht die Automatismen und was die Bots bei commons alleine tun. Meine kategorienlosen Bilder haben sie jedenfalls aufgespürt und mir um die Ohren geschlagen. Ich warte auf weitere "praktische Tipps", die mir sinnlose Anstrengungen ersparen. Gruß,

Ich habe Category:Langenbach jetzt mal so strukturiert, wie es aussehen sollte. Das kannst du dir ja mal in Ruhe ansehen.
Kategorien-Wizard ist ganz leicht, dafür gibt es am oberen Bildrand unter Einstellungen (oder My Preferences falls du noch nicht auf Deutsch umgestellt hast), ganz rechts unter Helferlein-Kategoriehelferlein die beiden Funktionen HotCat und Cat-a-lot. Wenn du die aktivierst, kannst du auch zaubern.
Mein Tip für das weitere Vorgehen:
Beim Hochladen der Bilder einfach die Kategorie der Gemeinde eingeben, die sollten für Bayern mittlerweile alle existieren. Am besten aber vorher prüfen, ob die entsprechende Gemeinde richig ist oder nich einen Klammerzusatz braucht, siehe Category:Municipalities in Bavaria. Damit sind die Bilder erstmal hochgeladen und kategorisiert, der Rest kann dann in Ruhe nachgeholt werden.
Nach dem Hochladen der Bilder dann die Struktur der Kategorien (Cultural heritage monuments, buildings, districts) aufbauen. Dazu dienen die Kopiervorlagen, nicht Einbinden in bildbeschreibungsseiten.
Als nächstes die Bilder entsprechend einsortieren. Das geht am schnellsten mit Cat-a-lot, weil man da immer mehrere Bilder bearbeiten kann, während HotCat immer nur an einem einzelnen Bild verwendet werden kann.
Probier es einfach mal mit einer anderen Gemeinde aus, wenn du irgendwo hängst, kannst du mich ja fragen. Grüße --Bjs (talk) 14:07, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Lieber Bjs, ich habe die Seite Langenbach noch durch den neuen Kopftext mit Disclaimer ergänzt. Man könnte die Tabelle noch in Ortsteile aufspalten - bei den wenigen wohl nicht nötig. Die Denkmalnummern bekommt man wohl nur im Bayern Viewer Denkmal? Ich werde die Suche mal ausprobieren und die gefundenen Nummern ergänzen. Die Koordinatenbestimmung lerne ich dann anschließend. Ich mache die Seite Langenbach zur Musterseite im Landkreis Freising, da kann sich jeder dann danach richten. Vielen Dank für die Tipps - die direkten von Dir sind immer am hilfreichsten! in Kürze ist es wieder soweit. Der nun schon traditionelle Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments wird im September zum vierten Mal stattfinden. In ähnlicher Form hatte unlängst der Wettbewerb "Wiki Loves Earth" eine erfolgreiche Premiere. Zu allen bisherigen vier Wettbewerben haben seit 2011 gut 3000 unterschiedliche Teilnehmer (User) ihren Beitrag geleistet. Du warst dabei, und bist auch herzlich eingeladen, am bevorstehenden WLM-Wettbewerb wieder dabei zu sein.
Allein in Deutschland wurden in den letzten drei Jahren im Rahmen von WLM rund 100.000 Fotos zu den insgesamt ca. 850.000 Kulturdenkmalen bundesweit hochgeladen. Jährlich haben sich mehrere Hundert Wiki-Fotographen daran beteiligt. Auch im kommenden Denkmalmonat wird dies gewiss wieder der Fall sein. Der Tag des offenen Denkmals am 14. September bietet bundesweit vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Denkmale nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen zu fotografieren. Denkmallisten sind dabei ein wichtiger Orientierungspunkt und zugleich auch Ziel der Einbindung der Fotos. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder neue Denkmallisten hinzugekommen, die hilfreich bei der Planung von individuellen oder Gruppen-Fototouren sind und auf eine Bebilderung warten, wie z.B. zu Görlitz oder Zittau. Unter den Landeshauptstädten fehlt nur noch Stuttgart. Aber auch hier ist Licht in Sicht.
In der Mitte Deutschlands hat die Denkmallandschaft der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt nun das Licht der Wikipedia-Welt entdeckt. Mehr als 50 Tabellen enthalten 3.700 Denkmale. Allein die wunderschön restaurierte Altstadt umfasst 1.800 Denkmale. Eine von WMDE geförderte WLM-Fototour nach Erfurt am Wochenende vom 29. – 31. August lädt herzlich ein, diese einzigartige Kulturlandschaft zu dokumentieren. Mehr Informationen findest Du auf der Projektseite.

danke für die Photos. Könntest du beim hochladen bitte aufpassen, dass die Dateinamen passen. Die Dateien werden anscheinend automatisch durchnummertiert. Das ist dann bei Dateinamen Straße+Hausnummer verwirrend, wenn Schießstättstraße 2.jpg Schießstättstraße 3.jpg Schießstättstraße 4.jpg usw. alle das gleiche Gebäude zeigen.
es ist unüblich Bilder Kategorien zuzuordnen, wenn sie schon in einer Unterkategorie sind. Ein Bild, dass also in der Kategorie Schiessstättstraße 2 ist, muss nicht mehr in die Kategorien "Buildings in Freising" und "Cultural Heritage Monuments in Freising", da ja schon die Kategorie Schiessstättstraße 2 in den beiden Kategorien enthalten ist. Ich habe inzwischen das Hausnummern-Problem erkannt. Ich muss mir erst eine gewisse Routine zulegen. Ich sehe bei einigen Gemeinden und Städten das Problem, dass man für die Kategorie "Cultural heritage monuments in XY" keine Hauptkat. findet, sondern bis in die 3. Unterkategorie absteigen muss, um die Denkmäler zu finden. Bei Freising versteckt sie sich unter "Culture in Freising". Weißt Du, wie man diese umfangreiche Denkmälersammlung auf die erste Ebene hochhieven kann??
Kurzer Nachtrag: Die Kat. "Cultural heritage monuments in Freising" ist auch eine Unterkat. von "monuments and memorials in Freising". Das müsste doch auch nicht sein!? Oder. Ich sehe schon, ich muss mich mal in diese "Wissenschaft des Kategorisierens" vertiefen (obwohl ich es langweilig finde!). --Didi43 (talk) 19:10, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
An der Kategoriestruktur würde ich nichts ändern. Die wurde denke ich mal irgendwann übergeordnet festgelegt und die Kategorie Freising daran angepasst. Bei Gemeinden mit weniger Dateien als in Freising ist die Struktur eventuell einfacher. Ob das jetzt eine Ebene weiter unten oder oben ist, finde ich unerheblich. Aber es ist eh die Frage ab wo du zählen willst. Freising/Landkreis Freising/Bayern/.... Das System ist einfach verschachtelt und bei mehreren Millionen Dateien wirds eben ein paar mehr Ebenen brauchen. Dass man über zwei oder mehr Wege ans gleiche Ziel kommt ist durchaus erwünscht und normal. Die Kategorie Freising erreicht man auch über verschiedene Wege (vgl. hier). Wenn jemand von außen kommt wird er eh nach Baudenkmäler Freising suchen und erstmal bei Wikipedia landen. nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.
Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.
Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.

könntest du bitte wenn du mehrere Bilder eines Objektes hast und du eine Kategorie dazu erstellst, die einzelnen Bilder nicht auch noch in die Kategorie "Cultural Heritage Monuments in XY-stadt" einfügen. Außerdem wäre es gut wenn du bei Gebäudekategorien/Einzelbildern auch "Building in XY-Stadt" mit angibst.
Ein Herzliches Dankeschön für Deinen WLE-Beitrag 2016[edit]
Hallo Didi43,
der diesjährige Fotowettbewerb „Wiki Loves Earth“ liegt hinter uns. Für Deutschland haben mehr als 1100 Teilnehmer über 18.000 Fotos hochgeladen. Damit sind wir ein gutes Stück vorangekommen bei der Dokumentation der Schutzgebiete und zu schützenden Objekte unserer Natur.
Vorjury und Hauptjury haben eine Auslese nach qualitativen Kriterien vorgenommen und im Ergebnis wurden 100 Preisträger ermittelt. Die TOP-100-Fotos von 64 Fotografen findet Ihr auf unserer WLE-Projektseite.
Doch der gesamte Fotoschatz lässt sich mit nur 100 Fotos kaum erfassen. Daher habe ich nach Themenfeldern eine persönliche Auswahl vorgenommen und diese in Form von Kalenderpostern zusammengestellt. Über ein offizielles Poster mit den TOP-100 hinaus gibt es auch Poster zu Flora, Fauna, Landschaften und zur Geologie. Für jeden Geschmack dürfte bei dieser Kollektion etwas dabei sind. Wer Lust hat kann sich eine preisgünstige Druckerei suchen und ein solches Poster für ca. 15 € im Format A1 ausdrucken lassen. Alle fünf Poster zusammen zeigen mehr als 400 Fotos von über 160 Teilnehmern.

Wenn alles klappt, dann wird das TOP-100-Poster in Kürze auch in höherer Auflage gedruckt und auf der bevorstehenden
WikiCon in der Region Stuttgart (Kornwestheim) für die Teilnehmer zum Mitnehmen und Weiterverteilen vorliegen. Auf dieser vom 16.-18. September stattfindenden Konferenz wollen wir auch nächste Schritte und mögliche Projekte mit Blick auf WLE-2017 diskutieren. Vorschläge für eine WLE-Preisverleihung und einen WLE-Workshop im Rahmen der WikiCon liegen auf dem Tisch. Es wäre schön, wenn auch Du dabei wärst.
Der Kalender reicht übrigens bis Juni 2017 und soll dazu einladen, schon in den kommenden Wochen und Monaten erneut auf Fototour rund um den Naturschutz zu gehen. Möge Euch ein Poster bis zum 4. WLE-Fotowettbewerb im Mai 2017 begleiten.

Du erhältst diese Nachricht, weil du bei Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 teilgenommen hast.
Auch in diesem Jahr beteiligt sich Deutschland wieder am internationalen Fotowettbewerb rund um Bau- und Kulturdenkmale. Bisher wurden bereits mehr als 18.000 Bilder hochgeladen – und wir würden uns sehr über weitere Bilder von Dir freuen. Noch bis zum 30. September 2016 kannst Du Deine Bilder hochladen. Alles Wissenswerte erfährst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.
Außerdem möchten wir Dich einladen, ab 12. September 2016 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese sichtet und bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 in Deutschland.
Re: Podcast zur WLM-Preisverleihung in Berlin 25. November 2016[edit]
Guten Morgen Didi43, dein aktuelles Statement bingt „es“ von A – Z auf den Punkt - vielen Dank dafür!
Und nun ist es gerade ein Jahr her, dass wir uns, gemeinsam mit anderen, intensiv darum bemühten, Jwaller zum Bleiben zu bewegen. Ich empfinde seinen Weggang immer noch als empfindlichen Verlust, nicht nur für Commons und seine mitteldeutsche Region: Im November 2013 ließ ich mich für ein begrenztes Biografie-Projekt mit Mentorenhilfe bei Wikipedia einführen; als am Ende nur noch ein wünschenswertes Foto zu einer Gedenktafel in Bad Köstritz fehlte, fragte ich bei dem offensichtlich dort bewanderten Jwaller danach an. Wir blieben im Gespräch zu seinen Bildern und Wandertouren. Nach ca. 6 Monaten brachte er es fertig, mich nach anfänglich heftigem Zaudern zu Commons hin zu ermutigen, indem er engmaschig im Hintergrund mit Rat und Tat (!) geduldig bei-stand. Ich vermisse den Kontakt sehr, erfreue mich insbesondere jahreszeitbedingt aber immer wieder an dem großen Fundus seiner Bilder.
Gelernt habe ich von Jwaller vor allem die Notwendigkeit von Kategorisierung und Verlinkung, wobei ich bewusst auch den Blickwinkel von extern Suchenden einnehme. Meine Fotodokumentationen betrachte ich als zusätzliches Belegpflicht-Mittel für Wikipedia-Artikelbeiträge, was ich schon vor Ort im Auge zu haben versuche.
Jwaller spontan anderswohin zu folgen, kam für mich damals nicht infrage, und auch ein allmählicher Rückzug war und ist schwer, muss - auch aus privaten Gründen - aber doch sein.

Bilder können vom 1. bis 31. Mai 2017 eingereicht werden.
WLE Deutschland kooperiert dieses Jahr mit der Deutschen UNESCO-Kommission (DUK). Die bestplatzierten Bilder von Biosphärenreservaten, Weltnaturerbe und UNESCO-Geoparks sollen auf http://www.unesco.de präsentiert werden.
Die allgemeinen Wünsche der Organisatoren haben sich nicht geändert: Schutzgebiet oder -objekt angeben, Originalauflösung, keine Signaturen oder ähnliches im Bild.
Die Suche nach geeigneten Motiven erleichtern unter anderem neue Listen aller deutschen Naturwaldreservate oder Listen der Naturdenkmale in Baden-Württemberg, im Saarland, Hessen und Brandenburg. Stöbere einfach mal bei Wikipedia, z. B. auf der Karte.
Eine Vorjury wird die Vorauswahl der Bilder übernehmen. Hier kannst Du Dich ebenfalls gerne beteiligen. Bei Interesse bitte unter WLE-Vorjury eintragen, das Passwort kommt per E-Mail.

vom 1. bis 31. Mai 2018 können beim Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth Deutschland wieder Landschafts- und Naturfotos eingereicht werden. Sie sollen in Schutzgebieten aufgenommen worden sein. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn Du auch dieses Jahr mitmachst.
Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen, als Einstiegsseite kann diese Karte dienen.
Als ehemaliger Teilnehmer kannst Du bis Ende April bei der Wahl der Jury abstimmen.
Da viele tausend Bilder zu bewerten sind, wird die sogenannte Vorjury ab Anfang Mai eine Vorauswahl der eingereichten Bilder übernehmen. Deine Beteiligung daran ist ausdrücklich erwünscht. Bei Interesse trage Dich bitte unter WLE-Vorjury ein, das Passwort kommt dann per E-Mail.

Hallo, Túrelio! Es ist gut, dass Du auf mich und meine Fotografierei aufpasst. Ich habe an URV bei den seit Jahrzehnten im öffentlichen Raum des Campus Freising-Weihenstephan aufgestellten Kunstwerken überhaupt nicht gedacht. Das ist mein Fehler. Was muss ich tun, um keine Bilder gelöscht zu bekommen? Gibt es eine Lösung? Die verlinkte Broschüre zum Kunstpfad Weihenstephan hat noch viel mehr Fotos, aber die haben sich vermutlich um die Rechte gekümmert?! ;-)
Die abgebildete Tafel ist draußen im Gelände. Info-Tafeln über die LfL im Verwaltungsgebäude der Landesanstalt sind im Eingangsbereich angebracht. Da werde ich am Freitag den Präsidenten selbst fragen, ob ich diese Kunstwerke fotografieren darf. Dann mache ich auch bessere Fotos. Hallo, Túrelio! Auf der deutschen Artikelseite von Josef Lang (Bildhauer) - https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Lang_(Bildhauer) - gibt es ein Bild Name des Autors ist dabei? Deswegen nicht URV?. Was ist mit diesem Bild von einer in Berlin stehenden Figur? Weil sie mit dem Künstlernamen versehen ist, kann sie bleiben? Im dt. Artikel Campus Freising-Weihenstephan habe ich den Bildhauer oder „Holzsäger“ Lang auch benannt und sogar verlinkt. Die Figur steht seit ein paar Jahren in der Nähe der Campus-Bibliothek. Sei so frei und benenne die Figur um: z.B. Josef Lang «See in Sicht»!
Die Plakate für Sharing Heritage können doch wohl nicht URV sein? Aber bitte macht mit diesen Fotos auf Commons, was ihr wollt. Ich verstehe auch nicht, wieso Banner einer Wanderausstellung URV sein sollen, wo die Absicht der Ausstellung doch darin liegt, möglichst viele Menschen durch die oft verfremdeten Fotos oder Abbildungen zu erreichen. Hallo Didi43, mir ist aufgefallen, dass du eine Reihe von Reproduktionen von fremden Werken im Rahmen von Ausstellungen hochgeladen hast. Aufgrund der zeitlich begrenzten und in-door Präsentation kannst hier kaum die Panoramafreiheit in Anspruch nehmen. Du benötigst also die Zustimmung des jeweiligen Künstlers. Überleg dir bitte, ob wir diese Fotos ggf. einfach löschen sollen oder eine Löschdiskussion (mit offenem Ausgang) eröffnen sollen. --Túrelio (talk) 09:09, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
