Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Ecco, ieri lì sul posto ne abbiamo parlato per un po' e "sentivo" che saremmo arrivati alla conclusione sbagliata... Il sito di origine riporta licenze diverse nei credits (cc-by) e in calce (cc-by-nc-nd) e da qui l'idea di mandare comunque una mail a permissions. Vero, le foto sono PD-Italy ma i file che hanno inviato (e che non abbiamo allegato al primo giro per un'incomprensione) sono scansioni hi-res degli originali, conferiti in un fondo dell'Istituto da una donazione da parte delle famiglie. Quindi, autore sconosciuto (sono fototessere....) PD-Italy ma donazione della scansione in alta risoluzione di immagini pubblicate in un sito con licenza non chiara...
Fammi ipotizzare, cambio la licenza in PD-Italy e lascio tutto il resto com'è? --Civvì (talk) 07:50, 18 February 2018 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Monuments ti aspetta, con centinaia di nuovi comuni fotografabili

Concorso Wiki Loves Monuments Italia 2018 (English version)

Gentile Civvì, ti ringraziamo ancora una volta per la tua passata partecipazione a Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM). Il più grande concorso fotografico del mondo si svolge anche questo settembre per documentare e promuovere il patrimonio culturale italiano, con una licenza copyright libera.

Quest'anno è doppiamente facile partecipare: gli oggetti fotografabili coprono quasi 1000 comuni in più, grazie all'adesione di centinaia di nuovi enti fra cui Roma, e alla possibilità di fotografare circa 2000 alberi monumentali. Controlla le liste di monumenti fotografabili! Carica tutte le foto che hai e magari organizza una visita presso i monumenti che ancora non hanno una foto.

Quest'oggi il Parlamento europeo ha respinto la proposta di estendere la libertà di panorama. E allora scattiamo e pubblichiamo tutte le foto che possiamo, almeno per questi monumenti per cui ci è legalmente consentito!

Ciao Civvì, sono poco pratico di Commons, quindi ti faccio una domanda. L'immagine in oggetto è una sorta di doppione di File:Wv Porto Valtravaglia banner.jpg di Teseo. Praticamente è un banner con un taglio leggermente diverso. Dato che una delle due non sarà mai usata, immagino che abbia senso cancellarla. Ciao @Andyrom75: ! Chiedi alla persona sbagliata, so che si possono cancellare i duplicati in modo rapido ma non so se questo caso rientri nella definizione precisa di "duplicate". @Andyrom75 Le richieste di cancellazione immediata sono accettate automaticamente dopo 7 giorni dall'upload, dopo sta alla comunità di decidere se il file serve oppure no. Sfrutto questa discussione per fare una domanda a tutti e tre (@Jaqen and Ruthven: ). Ho notato che su ogni immagine di Commons sono state introdotte "di recente" le didascalie strutturate per lingua (in analogia a Wikidata). Conoscete qualche template/modulo su Wikipedia che vi accede o un tutorial che mostra come crearne uno? --Andyrom75 (talk) 10:42, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

Dear uploader of Wiki Loves Earth in Switzerland and Wiki Loves Monuments in Switzerland, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started in the whole world. It is now open in your country until December, 15th.

If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. There are different categories that can be used (you might therefore have something already interesting in your archive). Prizes can be allocated for the 1st and 2nd positions in every category.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that the images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface by simply adding the national category.

If you take part, please consider improving the description in English of your files, since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them at the following step. World finalists will be finalized after March 2022.

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2022 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the two most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 1 May 2023, 23:59:59 UTC.

Anche quest’anno torna Wiki Loves Monuments: da oggi al 30 settembre puoi partecipare caricando le tue foto per contribuire a illustrare il patrimonio culturale italiano: vai sul sito wikilovesmonuments.it e scopri come fare!

Oltre ai 20.000 monumenti già in concorso, quest’anno si aggiungono più di 60.000 edifici religiosi, tema centrale di quest’edizione. Prendi la tua macchina fotografica, o il tuo smartphone, e individua i monumenti in concorso tramite la nuova web-app – disponibile sia da mobile che desktop – app.wikilovesmonuments.it, da cui potrai anche caricare direttamente i tuoi scatti. Sono ammesse anche foto scattate prima del concorso, purché siano inedite.

A livello nazionale verranno premiate le dieci migliori fotografie: cinque per gli edifici religiosi e cinque per le altre categorie di monumenti; queste immagini parteciperanno anche alla fase internazionale del concorso. Non sono ammesse immagini con watermark o cornici, né fotografie eccessivamente elaborate in postproduzione.
