Yemen War detailed map[edit]

Hello, i noticed you recently edited the Yemen War map and in your notes you put T"his light yellow colour is not in the legend. Changing yellow to white. No content changed." However, it appears you did mistakingly also change control over two cities. Jaar and Zinjibar are under AQAP controll and had been marked as such prior to your edit, however your edit changed Jaar to Hadi/coalition control and Zinjibar to contested. They should both still be marked as AQAP, see here for a source [[1]]XavierGreen (talk) 13:53, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@XavierGreen: Hi, feel free to revert my edit. Commons is currently having some caching issues which means that the right version doesn't get shown. What I modified appeared to be the 'latest' version to me but according to your message was probably an earlier one. --BurritoBazooka (talk) 16:15, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@XavierGreen: I've changed it back now. The thumbnail on your end may still be incorrect because of those same caching issues. Click on the image and then append the URL with "?action=purge", then there's a good chance of seeing the correct one. --BurritoBazooka (talk) 17:15, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New vector maps![edit]

Hello! Just wanted to notice that the vector versions of the current civil wars maps ,except Iraq and Syria, has been uploaded. As you may know vector images can take much less size than other types of images (.png) and can be zoomed without quality loss. If you want to make any updates please make sure to apply them on new vector maps .
Thank you!:) Ali Zifan 08:08, 21 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Ali Zifan: Thank you! I've been wanting this for a while. They look nicer than the raster ones, which have fill and quality issues when people update them. User:BlueHypercane761, the main updater, might not agree, I think he has a program or special method for taking data from the Wikipedia modules and putting them into PNGs. It would be best if there weren't two different versions of the maps in use. So if BlueHypercane doesn't want to change his method and nobody wants to take over, it might be best to just use the raster maps until the conflicts are over. (That doesn't mean the vector maps have to be deleted though) --BurritoBazooka (talk) 00:25, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

International May Day[edit]

File:IntObservance of International Workers' Day.svg

@BurritoBazooka:

I noticed that you have Denmark as red. A Danish friend of mine has told me that it is an official holiday there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matt the Czar (talk • contribs) 21:08, 05 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Matt the Czar: Hi, please provide a reliable source for this information (a Danish source is fine). I know that many public sector workers in Denmark get a day off on May 1, but I cannot find any official Danish publication saying that it is a government-mandated official public holiday. See for example this page which is information to employees and students of the University of Southern Denmark advising them when the official public holidays are. Also, this page (in Danish) which describes official public holidays (such as Constitution Day, "grundlovsdag") in law. --BurritoBazooka (talk) 21:27, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request[edit]

Hello.

Can you update the File:DaylightSaving-World-Subdivisions.png by changing the color of Tonga to blue which reverted to DST?

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 31.200.15.226 (talk) 21:51, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done, thanks for telling me. --BurritoBazooka (talk) 18:31, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request for the map of International May Day[edit]

Hello. Could you add the Legend "No public holiday on 1 May, but Labour Day on 1 May" like South Korea (see the en:International_Workers'_Day#South Korea) in the File:Observance of International Workers' Day.svg? Thanks. --Idh0854 (talk) 18:41, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Idh0854: I opened a discussion to add it on the :en:International Workers' Day talk page, since legend changes are sometimes regarded as major, and I'll do it if nobody objects. --BurritoBazooka (talk) 00:55, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Libya[edit]

Hi I am strongly oppose for the livemap for Libya. There are a consensus in en wiki to have all Libya with the stripes. But you could create a version with Libya and the others countries. --Panam2014 (talk) 21:36, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be participating in an edit war (at File:Qatar diplomatic crisis.svg). Users are expected to collaborate with others, and once it is known that there is a disagreement should discuss the issues on the relevant talk page rather than repeatedly undoing other users’ contributions. If necessary you can ask for more input at Commons:Dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to ask for temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing – even if you are right about the content issue.

Qatar diplomatic crisis.svg[edit]

Hello.

In the File:Qatar diplomatic crisis.svg Libya was removed (likely unintentially). Can you please put it back. Niger has also withdrawn its ambassador from Qatar, which needs to be colored in pink. Please see sources for further confirmation.

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 31.200.10.139 (talk) 00:56, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
