Re: bedroombondage

Please check permissions-en at wikimedia dot org or permissions-commons at wikimedia dot org as I have forwarded an email from Lorelei allowing GFDL licensing of Image:Frogtie-bb-lorelei-15303.jpg, included with seven other Wikipedia images listed at Wikipedia:Images_and_media_for_deletion/2007_October_21#Lorelei7_images. I tried emailing to permissions-en bot no response for so many days, so I tried permissions-commons but still no response. When you find my forwarded email, please reply to me before I can transwiki other seven images uploaded to English Wikipedia by user:Lorelei7 who told me on the phone as identical as Lorelei (bondage model).--Jusjih 03:17, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

I have tagged all relevant Lorelei's images with the OTRS tags received by email. By the way, I would like to kindly request a check to see if anything about JBC Productions and http://www.aussieropeworks.com (clean home page but with adult-only materials beyond it) have been logged at either permissions-commons or permissions-en at wikimedia dot org as I would like to be sure whether licensing evidence has been received for Image:Ball_gag1.jpg and Image:Bound on tippy toes.jpg that were uploaded by User:Jbc01 on English Wikipedia, along with 13 bondage images there listed in his userpage. Some are brought here, but I would like to be sure before bringing the remainders here. Thanks again.--Jusjih 03:08, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Help

Could you help me to delete Image:The Goddess Bunny.jpg? I prepared it to upload with other name and best resolution. See: Image:Goddess_Bunny.jpg --Yucalpeten 00:20, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks to help me to upload Image:Goddess_Bunny.jpg, I wait that you help me again to delete Image:The Goddess Bunny.jpg because I did not want to upload it with low resolution, a unnecessary thing now. --Yucalpeten 00:28, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, --Yucalpeten 20:21, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Just a question

Hi Bryan. If you take an image from en:wiki, than u want to upload it here in Commons, in order to make it available in all Wikiproject, so that is acceptable?--Muddyb Blast Producer 12:43, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Gadgets

Hello Bryan,

Gadgets are now installed on Commons, so I've copied some of your tools so that they can be used as gadgets (see your preferences or Special:Gadgets). So far I've only copied/pasted the code, so you'll have to find a way to synchronise the two versions, or keep only one... but that's too complicated for me.

POTY 2007 e-mail

Hi, Bryan. I just signed up to get the voting token and received the e-mail from CommonsDelinker. It's not really a big issue, but e-mail was in the wrong language (I selected English and it was in Swedish (I think)). The link worked fine and everything, but I just thought you might want to check it out. I didn't know if a return email would reach a human, so that's why I'm posting here. Cheers, Rocket000 11:08, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Image:President Eisenhower in Kabul.jpg

Hi, I decided to replace your version of the image with my version (Image:President Eisenhower in Kabul.jpg) because the name you've selected for the image was too long and with unrecognized letters. I used a simple name instead. Thanks!--Executioner 21:12, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Can you please write them a message asking for translations? :) ta --pfctdayelise (说什么?) 07:50, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Commons talk:Licensing

Groetend--Gerardus 10:46, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Handig script, maar lijkt een fout te bevatten: document.getElementById("filetoc") has no properties. Siebrand 23:50, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Werkt bij mij (FireFox 2). Andere browsers blijken echter nog meer problemen te hebben. Zal er eens later naar kijken. -- Bryan (talk to me) 17:54, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Input please

Hi Bryan - I know how busy you are but... I was nudged about this one on en wp today. To me they are likely copyvio stuff (& I did put something on an admin board a while back but as far as I can see no one has looked at it). If you get a minute..? Thanks --Herby talk thyme 14:58, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

poty vote

Bryan, I was testing the Polish translation for the voting soft and found that once you have used the token and try to access the URL again:

  • the message is in English (I assume it is easier but you surely have the user's preference at this point as user is part of the query string so it potentially could be possible to include localised message)
  • there could be a different message to say that the token has already been used (rather than that it has not been requested).

Cheers, mfx Q&A 23:01, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

OK, thanks for your answers - it is clear now :-) I am ready to give you a hand with the support for translated category names. mfx Q&A 11:53, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your support! I look forward to working with you. Rocket000 15:39, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

David Sedaris photo

Hi... your bot uploaded Image:David Sedaris.jpg but I'm pretty certain that the Flickr user just uploaded a publicity photo and marked it cc-licensed by default. I've marked it for speedy deletion. —Chowbok 16:17, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Ah, okay. I didn't notice that, thanks. I've notified the user as well.—Chowbok 17:35, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Bot and file name extensions

Hello. I prefer normal file extensions, not crippled by ancient DOS limitations (DOS users themselves have drivers for long filenames!). So I told the bot to name files “….jpeg”. It added “.jpg” on top of that. ☹ Like this:

Please, fix.

Another "move back" bot request

Hello Bryan, I'm about to close Commons:Deletion requests/Images of Jorunn (uploaders request) as a delete decision. However, all the images mentioned there should be transferred to the English Wikipedia first, where they could by tagged as PD-Art. Could you do that by bot, please? Once that's done, I'll close the request. Thanks. Lupo 08:14, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Re: "This is quite some work, because the images must be deleted from Commons before I can upload them to the English Wikipedia." I don't understand. If the images are first deleted here, won't they be unlinked, too? I would have uploaded them locally at en first, and then deleted them here. Or is there some new feature somewhere that disallows local uploads if there's a name clash with Commons? Lupo 09:24, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

My RfA

Hi, Bryan. I deeply appreciate your final support in my recent nomination. Finally, I've been appointed and I'm ready to go on working (this time with some extra buttons). If you need anything from me, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be glad to help. Best regards and thank you again. --Ecemaml (talk to me/habla conmigo) 21:31, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi,Brian, I can't upload this file: Can you help me! Thanks, --Tiptop 13:02, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

I also have the same problem whith this file,I can't complete the upload with the return Flickr uploader. Thanks again. --Tiptop 13:46, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Upload form

See also User talk:Pfctdayelise#Upload form.

I've put together a prototype for a newly structured upload form that, amongst other things, forces people to enter a source, an author, and a license before uploading. Works ok on Firefox, but I could use help with handling multilingualism in an easily extensible way and with getting it to work properly on other browsers, in particular on IE. Interested? Translation of captions

Hi, where would I find the individual images of which captions need to be translated (picture of the year 2007) ? Regards  Emil·76  22:44, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Hockey fight

Hi

I think your bot has uploaded bad images : Image:Eager fights Reich.jpg and Image:GeorgeParros fights AndrewPeters.jpg for example. The Flicker acount http://flickr.com/ doesn't exist anymore. For me theses pictures were from http://sports.yahoo.com/. --TaraO 15:35, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

ok (I'm not really good, in English ... I should tell that to Xgeorg  ?) --TaraO 15:55, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
ok thank you very much. Do I have to look to other hockey fight pics with bad licence and list them ? --TaraO 15:58, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Another sock puppet

Vispec also has the account User:Tetouancity. Koavf 19:25, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

User:Koavf and User:Reisio are the same person, trying to do some publicity to Polisario font, and trying to shut up the others. Tetouancity 22:08, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Nope You are a liar, ignorant, or both. Koavf 22:09, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
The subject were already discussed and resolved in Wikipedia and it's clear, so stop vandalism. Tetouancity 22:21, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Nope again No, it wasn't. Are you actually going to defend your claim that Reisio and I are mutually sock puppets? Koavf 22:24, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Frankly, I don't care whoever of you is right. I don't give a damn whoever owns the Western, Eastern, Norther or Souther Sahara. So please fight your fight somewhere else. I do care about sockpuppetry however. You'll hear from me. -- Bryan (talk to me) 22:25, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Hard task

Hi Bryan, I've tried to do it my best with August, but I must admit that I don't dare to make a decision on many of them. I think that a more veteran admin should take care of it, shouldn't him? Anyway, I'll go on with the review of nominations. Best regards --Ecemaml (talk to me/habla conmigo) 23:37, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry

Vispec again Another alias. I'm posting on Bryan's talk, Herythyme's talk, and the admin board. Koavf 08:31, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi Bryan. On 4th December-2007 I asked question about to upload an image from en:wiki, it's allowed? But it seems ur ignored me!! Kindly I need to know about this. So my willness is to upload them in Commons.wikimedia in order to make them available in all Wikiprojects, that is. Please answer me.--Muddyb Blast Producer 07:56, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

FlickrLickr problem

Protection

Hi Bryan. I protected Flickr upload bot's User-page (its your Bot, isn't it?!). In my oppinion it does not has to be edited by unregristet Users and Vandalism witch holds on 10 hours is not nice. If you disagree feel free to remove the protection. Regards, __ ABF __ ϑ 19:25, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi Bryan - Could you possibly help with these files? [2]. The error has been saved as 2992ffa8. Many thanks!
