Thanks for uploading Image:Fotw.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Party logos[edit]
Hi, I don't think I quite understand why you claim that you have created a number of party logos that you release to the public domain. Some of them are quite old too. Hola Battroid.
En primer lugar, quiero aclarate la gravedad de la situación actual.
En general en Commons se presupone buena fe a todos los usuarios. Lo más grave que un usuario puede hacer es poner en entredicho Commons atentando contra los derechos de autor procurando que ese atentado no sea percibido. Debido a ello, la actuación de Arnomane es normal y es correcta, posiblemente la hubiese debido realizar yo. Desde el momento en que has subido una imagen que no es tuya diciendo que es tuya, has perdido credibilidad ante el resto de usuarios de la comunidad.
Considerando que ese hecho ha sido un despiste (como dices) o un desconocimiento, has de ser muy cuidadoso de aquí en adelante y recuperar la credibilidad que has perdido.
Algunas recomendaciones:
- Habla con Arnomane. No lo has hecho todavía y lo debes de hacer tú, no un intermediario (además mi nivel de inglés es inferior al tuyo).
- No subas imágenes pequeñas realizadas por ti, por ser el tamaño más frecuente en internet son dudosas. Es preferible que se aproximen a 2000x1500 y que no sean ampliaciones (se nota cuando lo son).
- Sube de nuevo las imágenes que son tuyas con un tamaño superior a 2 megapíxeles (exprésale a Arnomane previamente que lo vas a hacer para recuperar credibilidad). Comprímelas un poco si lo deseas.
- Ten mucho cuidado al etiquetar las imágenes. Indica el origen con claridad. Indica la página exacta de la que las has tomado.
-Si realizas un dibujo, y partes de una imagen para su realización, indica el lugar exacto del que tomaste esa imagen (aunque sea dominio público). Para ser el dibujo que tú realizas apto para Commons, la imagen previa tiene que permitir expresamente la realización de obras derivadas y de uso comercial
-Si te etiquetan una imagen con un marcador de borrado, nunca lo elimines. Comunícate con el que lo puso y explícate. Las cosas serían diferentes si al ser borrada la imagen Image:Victor Cervera Pacheco.jpg te hubieses al menos disculpado y dado explicaciones.
Tengo que dejarte, ahora tengo trabajo. Pensaré en el caso y bien entrada la noche (soy español, GMT +1) me pondré de nuevo en contacto contigo. Sinceramente, deseo que la situación se resuelva a tu favor.
Por cierto, me gustaría que me respondieses indicándome el enlace exacto del Senado de México del que has tomado esas imágenes. Están mal etiquetadas. Das como referencia la página general y hai que dar como referencia el lugar exacto para que pueda ser comprobado el origen. Yo no las he podido encontrar.

- Estimado Battroid, quizás no haya matizado bien mis palabras, yo no dudo de que las imágenes del senado de México procedan de ese lugar. Sólo te indico que además de indicar el enlace a la página del Senado de Méjico, para poder comprobar (yo o cualquiera) que proceden de allí, debes de poner el enlace a la página concreta en que aparecen esas imágenes. Al menos eso sería lo ideal.
Cuando te respondí, lo hice presuponiendo buena fe y, posiblemente, falta de experiencia. Puedes haber cometido un error, pero puedes subsanarlo, y hai errores mucho más graves que por desgracia cometemos en nuestras vidas. - Hola Battroid. Puede haber problema con la imagen Image:COA 7 Distrito.jpg, porque no acabo de entender lo del Source. Si has usado físicamente la imagen que dices, esa imagen tiene que expresar que está en el Dominio Público y permitir obras derivadas; en caso contrario tu imagen podría ser borrada. Pero a mi me parece que no la has usado, la imagen que has hecho, la has hecho tú, mirando en tal caso para la otra. Si es esto último lo que sucede, sobra esa referencia a la foto pdf, basta con que pongas Own work. Self made. Pintada por mí mismo o algo así en la línea de Source. Hola Battroid, he marcado una imagen tuya Image:Escudo MX-JAL.gif para borrado rápido, debido a que la copiaste de del sitio FOTW(Flags of the world), como podrás ver en este enlace las imágenes de FTOW no son válidas para Commons debido a su restricción comercial. Es así que te pediría que revises tus contribuciones y coloques un aviso de indicando que las copiaste de un sitio que no permite su uso comercial y deseas borrarlas, eso en caso que hayas subido más. - El hecho es que la imagen como tal no llevaba una justificación o autorización que pueda llevar a pensar que no se esta infringiendo la norma, en caso que exista una autorización hay que poner un enlace desde la página de la imagen hacia la autorización. En la autorización se debe mencionar que se autoriza el uso comercial(mejor aún si vienen en alguna licencia cc compatible), la cual fue la razón por la cual la imagen se borró. --Alhen .::··¨ 05:22, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Ola Battroid. Para poder subir una foto de una página web, en esa página se tiene que indicar la licencia con que se comparte la imagen en Commons. Es difcilísimo encontrar en internet imágenes con motivos recientes que puedan ser subidas a Commons.
Si en la página no hai licencia ninguna, no se pueden subir fotos de esa página. La causa radica en que la legislación internacional (apartado 5.2 del Convenio de Berna) indica que no es preciso ningún requisito para que cualquier obra de una página web tenga copyright. Por lo tanto sólo se pueden subir fotos de aquellos lugares que indiquen explícitamente que las imágenes están en el dominio público y permiten la realización de obras derivadas y el uso comercial.
Yo he perdido tiempo buscando páginas de las que poder aprovechar alguna imagen de sucesos recientes. Casi no he encontrado nada, Flickr y nada más. Ni siquiera se pueden subir las más de las imágenes de Flickr, pues de los seis grupos de imágenes del enlace anterior, solamente se pueden subir fotos del primero ({{cc-by-2.0}}) y del último ({{cc-by-sa-2.0}}). Puedes mirar en Flickr, hai cosas interesantes y haciendo click en el enlace See more de cada grupo de imágenes puedes hacer búsquedas dentro del grupo.

Re:Vandalizacion de imagenes de Felipe Calderón[edit]
Hola Battroid. Perdona que tardase en responder. Por el momento he decidido incluir en mi lista de vigilancia la página Felipe Calderón y las imágenes que en ella hay. A diario compruebo lo que ocurre en las páginas que tengo vigiladas (frecuentemente dos veces al día, aunque alguna vez, como ayer, puedo llevar uno o casi dos días de retraso). Estaré al tanto.
Al vigilarlas podré hacerme una mejor composición de lugar del problema que indicas y actuar con criterio. Ademñás procuraré acceder a la página con regularidad. Las acciones que indicas y que he visto son vandálicas, no hay duda. No se puede suplantar una imagen con otra por motivos ideológicos y además Commons no es el espacio adecuado para denigrar publicamente a ningún personaje. El bloqueo de los usuarios que las realicen, tras ser avisados, es inevitable.
Además, voy a estudiar el historial de las imágenes para intentar adelantarme a los acontecimientos. Lo malo es que no dispongo de mucho tiempo hasta el miércoles. He estado mirando Image:Felipe Calderon.jpg; es estraño lo que en ella ocurre: User:Aquilez intentó realizar una mejora de la imagen el 16 de junio de 2006 y actuó vandálicamente el 3 de diciembre. Entiendo que son motivos ideológicos los que sustentan su proceder por lo que voy a pedir ya ahora explicaciones.

El proceso para que las autorizaciones sean aceptadas en Commons es complejo. Es conveniente leer detenidamente Commons:OTRS antes proceder y, quizás, ponerse en contacto con alguno de los voluntarios presentes en http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/OTRS/personnel.

En cuanto a que le puedes cambiar, el color debe ser el mismo, porque eso es lo que lo identifica a la linea del meytro, invertir la silueta, pierde el simbolismo, en lo que si estoy de acuerdo en vez de que quede como una silueta de una m, sea un cuadrado completo y asi si cambia todo. hola, sobre los mapas que has subido. se nota que utilizas un programa de vectores para hacerlos. (illustrator?) en cualquier caso. para ese tipo de imagenes es mucho mejor subirlos con formato SVG. de lo contrario terminaran en esta lista y haras a alguien mas trabajar doble. Disculpa Battroid, quizás no sabes, pero el nuevo contenido de presidencia.gob.mx ya NO es dominio público (de hecho, todo el sitio dejó de serlo desde abril del 2006, por lo que te invito a no subir más imágenes de tal sitio). La nota actual es (C) Algunos los derechos reservados, por lo que probablemente tenga la misma licencia que tuvo el sitio de Fox durante casi todo 2006 (Creative commons por atribución no comercial y sin derivadas, lo cual no es compatible con commons). Hemos contactado a la presidencia y esperamos confirmación en permissions@wikimedia.org para los detalles de licencia del nuevo contenido, mientras tanto, te pido que no agregues imágenes de ahí por el momento y le comentes a los demás participantes. -- Drini 17:59, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Pues, no me responden de la presidencia, por lo que no creo que podamos seguir usando imágenes nuevas como dominio público (ya que la página indica "algunos derechos reservados", así como anteriormente usaban una licencia CC no compatble con Commons, sin embargo es posible que las imágenes viejas sí lo sean. Es decir, loas imágenes anteriores al cmabio de licencia, aparentemente sí las podemos usar, como dominio público, por tanto las podemos conservar. El detalle es (que yo desconozco) si el webmaster tenía la capacidad legal para liberarlas al dominio público (usualmente el webmaster NO es el dueño de la propiedad intelectual). -- Drini 21:11, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Emblemas del Metro[edit]

He estado contribuyendo con el artículo del Metro de la Ciudad de México durante los últimos 3 meses. Mis contribuciones hasta el momento se centran en subir emblemas de las estaciones en formato SVG.
Para evitar problemas de derechos de autor me ví a la tarea de preguntar sobre el uso de estos emblemas o su reproducción (como lo hemos hecho algunos wikipedistas). Por parte de las autoridades del STC-Metro no he recibido respuesta a mis correos. Solo he recibido asesoría por parte de algunos profesores de mi carrera (tengo estudios en diseño industrial) y ellos me han comentado que los derechos de autor de los emblemas del metro son cedidos por los diseñadores al STC-Metro y solo el STC-Metro tiene la autoridad para otorgarnos los permisos de reproducción. Incluso, el emblema y tipografías son propiedad del STC-Metro (situación que se confirma con la pequeña R que aparece actualmente el el logo del metro).
Quisiera saber que opinión tienes sobre esta situación o que alternativas has pensado para no violar los principios de Wikipedia. En lo personal tengo algunas soluciones, espero poder discutirlas contigo y con los otros wikipedistas que colaboran en el artículo del Metro.

Tip: Categorizing images[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]][[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Mapa político de Tabasco[edit]
Hola Battroid: Como un comentario, vi que creaste el mapa político de acuerdo a las elecciones municipales realizadas en Tabasco en el 2009. Solo te comento que el municipio de Jalpa de Méndez (rojo) se lo tienes adjudicado al PT, pero el Tribunal Federal Electoral le dió al final el triunfo al PRI, por lo que debes de cambiarlo a color verde. Hola, me encuentro actualizando los aeropuertos de México y en todos incluyo un mapa de la Entidad donde se encuentra el aeropuerto, pero hay muchos que aún no han sido creados por lo que tengo que usar el del país.
