There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

This message was added automatically by Nikbot, if you need some help about it please read the text above again and follow the links in it, if you still need help ask at the ? Commons:Help desk in any language you like to use. --Nikbot 00:01, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

File:This is from Jen Selter's twitter account- I did NOT take this image- I am not claiming this image to be my own- Purely for the good and use of the Wikipedia page and to show what Ms-Selter looks like- 2014-07-07 02-00.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Thanks for pointing out. It was not taken from the ISS, but instead was taken during STS-33. Cheers, Rehman 14:19, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

fix duplicate argument[edit]

Thank you for your excellent work 'fix duplicate argument'.
How did you detect them?
I would kove to detect them in the templates even if I must write lua.
Cheers Liné1 (talk) 06:13, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem. All are located at Category:Pages using duplicate arguments in template calls. It's a hidden category.--Auric (talk) 10:55, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Template parameter reordering[edit]

Why do you do the template parameter reordering changes like here? In German Wikipedia this would be against the box here. I'm quite okay with that we don't have a policy like this on Commons. However, if code cosmetic edits are done I'd expect them to be clearly better and perform as many improvements as possible in a single edit. The order you've used isn't even that on Template:Artwork (I know there are diverging orders at different places on Commons). BTW: Perhaps WikiSyntaxTextMod (esp. de:User:PerfektesChaos/js/WikiSyntaxTextMod/usage/replace/template; documentation unfortunately German only) is interesting for you. It can perform template syntax cosmetics. My config for Template:Artwork is on User:Marsupium/common.js. Cheers, --Marsupium (talk) 12:51, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I preformed this change because otherwise a reference error is displayed. See how it was before. The references tag has to be underneath the references, otherwise it is cut off and shows the error. Note that in Template:Artwork the references parameter is second from the bottom, presumably for that reason.--Auric (talk) 12:58, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, okay, sorry, I've somehow overlooked that, good to know, thank you for your explanation! It might be worth to fill in the edit summary! :-) --Marsupium (talk) 14:40, 13 June 2018 (UTC), 14:42, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Photo of tidal bore[edit]

Hello Auric, thanks for contributing the photo of the tidal bore on the Petitcodiac River. Without a recognizable object in view, scale is difficult to recognize. Any chance of taking another with a human or other familiar object in view? Thanks, ... PeterEasthope (talk) 17:21, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The photo was intended to show the force, not the scale. I'm kind of leary of uploading one of the images with the surfers in it. --Auric (talk) 18:02, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
