Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Don't want to interfere in any way with your fun, but if you had just encoded the arrowheads as simple ordinary triangles, instead of exploring the frontiers of "markers", then you could have had a working SVG file months ago... AnonMoos (talk) 03:00, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

Of course markers are not forbidden in SVG files. But I noticed that your strategy of hand-coding marker code, and then not being 100% sure what's an RSVG bug and what's a coding bug, doesn't seem to be working for you. Yes, markers are supposed to save effort in some situations. But sometimes you have to realize that what should be theoretically supposed to be reducing work is in actuality increasing work, and cut your losses. Hi PeterEasthope. The above also applies to File:MountOlivesHospitalSign.png. Please note that Commons only accepts images which are unequivocally in the public domain or freely licensed. While I believe the creator of these photos gave you permission to use them for Wikipedia, Commons requires that clear explicit permission be given for anyone anywhere in the world to use them for any purpose (including commercial). Please refer to COM:OTRS#If you are NOT the copyright holder for further details on how to send such permission to Commons' OTRS for verification. Moreover, there is another possible problem with the photo of the sign. While I have no reason to doubt that Ambrose Yeboah took the photo, it's not clear whether he created to sign itself. Signs, even those publicly displayed like this, are often protected by copyright so simply taking a picture of it does not mean a transfer of copyright. The photo may be freely licensed by the photographer, but the sign itself may require a free license from its creator/copyright holder. Sometimes when a copyrighted object is in the background and not the focus of the photo, the principle of de minimis applies, but that does not seem to be the case here. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:29, 6 September 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the response Peter. If the files are by chance deleted before the emails are sent, don't worry. Files which are deleted are not completely gone, they are just hidden from public view so to speak and in most cases can be easily "unhid" by an administrator, etc. So, there's no need to re-upload them again. You can either ask the deleting admin or at COM:OTRSN for help. Once the emails have been sent, the system will automatically send a reply to the sender which will contain an OTRS ticket number. Adding this number to any discussions will make it easier for those who check such things (i.e., OTRS volunteers) to find the email in the system. If the email is are sent before the files are deleted, then just replace the {{No permission since}} templates with {{OTRS pending}}. This will give the OTRS volunteers more time to find and verify the permission email. Be advised, however, that the "OTRS pending" template will automatically change to "No permission since" if 30 days pass and the email have not been verified. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait when it comes to OTRS since there are only so many volunteers, so you can ask about things at OTRSN if you start to get worried.

Finally, as I wrote above, there may be a problem with the photo of the sign itself. I asked about this at COM:VP/C#File:MountOlivesHospitalSign.png, so you might want to take a look. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:33, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
