Over-categorization

Please read Commons:OVERCAT. So always place an image in the most specific categories, and not in the levels above those. Images of animals should be placed in species category only. Don't add categories like Category:Animals or Category:Birds, those categories should always be empty. --Smooth_O (talk) 15:17, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Smooth O - Sorry. A couple of questions for you:
  1. Is there a way to change the Comment portion in the File History? For example, Comment: User created page with UploadWizard, or is that information supposed to be included?
  2. When an image is uploaded with a license specified, and that license is shown on the image page, is that not enough permission? Did you get the information you needed on the images I uploaded that you questioned? Atsme☯Consult 15:45, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I noticed a adaptation of a figure from my 2013 paper (Frable et al, 2013) on Synodus on the Western Atlantic- which is awesome. I know it is an artistic adaptation but could you please provide the citation to the original material in the figure? I am not familiar with Fishery Bulletin's rules on figure reproduction, so you may also want to check with them.
