Karte Zwickauerland[edit]

Hallo Alma,

ich habe für Langenbernsdorf eine Lagekarte erstellt, dabei habe ich mich farblich an deinen Karten orientiert, desweiteren habe ich aus dem Image:Erlbach kirchberg kreis stollberg.png die kleine Sachsen karte verwendet. Das habe ich auch in die Quellenangabe von meinem Bild geschrieben (siehe http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Zwickauerland_langenbernsdorf.png so sieht es bei wikipedia aus http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langenbernsdorf) Ich würde jetzt für alle anderen Gemeinden im Zwickauerland das auch machen. Hallo, das Pano wird wahrscheinlich noch besser, wenn Du unter Options Scale und Jpeg-Quality auf 100 stellst. System Memory nur so gr0ß, dass noch ein wenig für das laufende System übrig bleibt. Verlustfreies Zuschneiden geht dann noch mit XnView (Per Icon).

Biathleten[edit]

Hallo Alma, du hattest Anfang Januar mehrere Bilder von Biathleten von Flickr hierher geholt. Dabei muß ein FlickrReview-Fehler bei der Datierung unterlaufen sein. Darum hat User:Denniss jetzt Schnelllöschanträge (in meinen Augen massiv übertrieben) gestellt. Es handelt sich um Image:Ricco Gross Biathlet.jpg und Image:Michael Rösch Biathlet.jpg. Ich habe mal nachgesehen - die Bilder sind nicht im Wikimedia-Sinne frei. Sie dürfen nicht kommerziell genutzt werden, was unseren Richtlinien wiederspricht. Wappen_Heringsdorf[edit]

I'll try to make a vector version. The original was quite small and I'm not really sure about details such as: Should the edges of the waves be uniformly thick and solid color? What exactly is the color of the contour of the waves and of the crown? If there is a better source for these colors and shapes, I could use the input.

I made an svg but could not upload it using "derivatveFX" [1] (which is my usual method) because there are no licenses attributed to the file Wappen heringsdorf.PNG. I see that there are permissions which I would term as being sufficient to overrule any licences but I don't know why deriviativeFX does not think them satisfactory...

The procedure for uploading original files also requires licence information and, as this IS a derivative work, I don't want to claim that it is my own work.

This is not "Chapelle Notre-Dame de Foncourrieu". Can you change the name to "Chapelle des Pénitents de Marcillac-Vallon"?

Important message for file movers[edit]

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning.
