{{unblock declined|1=I think I shouldn't be blocked because this photo's copyright holder is unsearchable, I just try to upload pictures and give the right tags and licenses and they always end up for deletion, I have asked for help several times and no one will try to aid me, I just wanted a very simple way to upload pictures on Wikipedia. I have uploaded pictures of posters, and screenshots and they have all been deleted. I try to put in non-free poster, and non-free music video screenshot but then the deletion comes up again when I have provided the author of the works|2=block has expired, so request is moot}}
- Block is ok. Also in the light of above statement. With all uploads the user
- claims own work on content that he not created
- adds wrong tags that the real copyright holders never agreed too
- Also the above statement shows a lack of understanding on how copyright works and complete lack of knowledge what this project is about. In short a simplified explanation:
- All of the press photos you uploaded here is protected by copyright for the photographers lifetime +70 years
- All screenshots is only derivative work of the original content, the original content is protected and you illegaly reproduce it by making screenshots
- All copyrighted content is not allowed on Commons unless the copyright holder gave permission to a free content license.
- The absence of a copyright notice or your inability to find out the copyright holder does not mean that a work not has a copyright holder and that you can steal it. (see COM:PRP and apply commonsense!)
- This applies to photos, poster, screenshots, and all the other non-free content you tried to upload. You cant upload non-free content here. With no exception. Any exception such as fair use is not existent on Commons. --Martin H. (talk) 16:32, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking your time to explain this to me. And first of all you dont have to be so nasty with me . Second of all I didn't know all of these things, I am just a newbie on uploading pictures, and lastly if I do want to upload pictures from a music video from Youtube how would I go about doing so? I see other Wiki articles with screenshots from music videos, and I tried to copy the way they licensed their photo (which wasn't theres) and it wasn't up for deletion. - Other wikis, such as the English Wikipedia allow screenshots of videos under fair use. On Commons fair use is forbidden. See the links above.
