Hello Χ, thanks for all your maps for the Cricket World Cups. So please could you also create a map for the upcoming 2019 Cricket World Cup? As of 2018, all 10 qualified countries are known. Thank you so much. Best regards. -- SpesBona 20:55, 19 August 2018 (UTC)

@SpesBona: ✓ Done Χ (talk) 12:01, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
Thank you so much for this pretty map again. May I request you to make maps like this for all the final standings for all the eleven Cricket World Cups played yet, like the existing final standing maps for the Soccer World Cups (e.g. File:2018 world cup.svg)? This weekend just prior to the 2019 Cricket World Cup I'm busy with the final standing tables on the Afrikaans Wikipedia, e.g. af:Krieketwêreldbeker 1975#Finale puntestand. A map would look very nice there. Best regards. Groete. --  SpesBona 21:30, 24 May 2019 (UTC)

@SpesBona: I'd be happy to! Is there a particular color scheme that would be more appropriate? χ (talk) 11:24, 27 May 2019 (UTC)

Hello Χ, nice to hear from you! Maybe the same color scheme like the one from the soccer world cups? Maybe you have also time for new maps regarding the Rugby World Cup later in 2019? A uniform color scheme would be very nice for our readers, I think. Otherwise I thought about something like the Olympic maps (e.g. File:2016 Summer Olympics medal map.svg): gold for the champion, silver for the runner up, bronze for the semi-finalists, yellow for the Super Six/Eight/Quarter finalists and red for the group stage. Additional blue for something between group stage and Super Six/Super Eight/Quarter finalists. What do you think? I'm looking forward to the maps. :) Best regards. Groete. --  SpesBona 21:10, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
As for now, I prefer the Olympic style. Just to avoid possible confusion with the qualification maps. What do you think? Enjoy the ICC Cricket World Cup. :) Best regards. Groete. --  SpesBona 20:30, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
@SpesBona: I've uploaded a few maps on Category:Cricket World Cup maps (e.g. File:2011 Cricket World Cup results.svg). I prefer blue over yellow because yellow is too close to gold. Let me know if there's anything to change. I'll complete the rest of the series soon :) χ (talk) 12:58, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
Hello Χ, thank you so much for the wonderful maps. I'll love them and they will look very nice in the articles. I like the color scheme, too. I'm going to add the existing map this weekend on the articles and looking forward for the other maps. Again, thank you very much for your maps! :) Groete. --  SpesBona 19:15, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

@SpesBona: All done! Let me know if I made a mistake, or feel free to correct it yourself! Enjoy the world cup :) χ (talk) 14:44, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

A big thank you, again! The first maps are used in Wikipedia articles on the Afrikaans Wikipedia and the rest will be added this weekend. I looked at the maps and the only mistake I could found, are small border issues, because of the years, the maps are showing. Until 1992 Scotland was represented by the English cricket team. This affects the maps until 1992, probably the maps for the participating nations, too. The other small thing are political borders and therefore just a detail. The maps for the Cricket World Cups during the Cold War are correct for the biggest part of the world, but Eritrea get it's independence in 1991/1993, Yemen was divided until 1990, Timor Leste was part of Indonesia and the southern border of Uganda is missing, because of the first map for 1975 with the Eastern African team, I guess. :) Just details, as I mentioned. ;) I hope, I could help you a little bit with this pretty maps. The world cup is wonderful, I enjoy it really! :) May you enjoy it, too. :) Best regards. Groete. --  SpesBona 21:44, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
@SpesBona: Details are important :) Which years in the results series have a wrong border for Uganda? I grouped them with East (and Central) Africa when I thought necessary but it's possible I made mistakes. χ (talk) 09:49, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
Okay, let's have a look on the details. :) Details keeps me working on Wikipedia, too. :D
More and more articles on the Afrikaans Wikipedia get your very useful maps and gives them the final touch. I really enjoy it to add them there. :) Thank you so much for your help and time! :) Best regards. Groete. --  SpesBona 21:30, 8 June 2019 (UTC)

@SpesBona: Thanks for the list, I'm working on correcting everything. About the East African borders, this was intentional as they were part of the same team for many years, so I'm not sure what needs correcting besides 1999 Uganda. χ (talk) 12:54, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

Ok, I understand the issue for the former East and Central Africa cricket team. I forgot them, my fault, sorry. :( Thank you so much for correcting the maps, which are clearly perfect now and suits the articles very good! A big thank you again! :) Best regards. Groete. --  SpesBona 21:10, 12 June 2019 (UTC)

Hello Χ, the en:2019 Cricket World Cup will be finished in a few days (sadly, because I really enjoyed it!). So do you have time to create a map about the final standings of this tournament like the others above? This would look great on af:Krieketwêreldbeker 2019 and will made the article round once again! :) A big thank you for your work here! Best regards. Groete. --  SpesBona 18:15, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

✓ Done Will update when the tournament is over. χ (talk) 11:38, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
Hello Χ, how are you? Congratulations with the autopatrol status! You deserve it. I'll hope you are well! I just want to let you know that on the Afrikaans Wikipedia there are two articles about the last cricket world cups (2015 and 2019) on the way to featured status. They, and all the other, are looking very good and your lovely maps are the cherry on the cake for those articles! I'll hope you have the time to do the same for the rugby. There, further maps can do the same in featured articles and will be the cherry on the cake, again. The Afrikaans Community will be very grateful for your work and enjoying your maps, because most people there love these sports, like me. All the Best! Groete. --  SpesBona 22:00, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

Maps for Rugby World Cups

Hello Χ, how are you? I'm still in love with all the maps you made for the Cricket World Cups. I'm busy with all the Rugby World Cups on the Afrikaans Wikipedia now. That's why I ask you to make a similar series of maps for all the nine tournaments, as of 2019. This means maps for the qualification and the final standings, altogether nine maps. They will be very good for the articles! :) Do you have time? Groete. --  SpesBona 21:15, 7 September 2019 (UTC)

Dear Χ, hopefully you're fine! Maybe you can show the automatic qualifiers from each previous tournament on both maps, qualified teams and final standings, as well. It's an unique thing in RWC and I really like it. :) Groete. --  SpesBona 19:45, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

Autopatrol given

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. -- ~riley (talk) 00:47, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
