Republican Primary Calender

Since you made this calender it has changed. Could you update it? See the talkpage at Template:Republican Party presidential primaries, 2016 Jack Bornholm (talk) 16:57, 13 February 2016 (UTC)

Polling for Trump vs. Clinton

As the primaries wind down, it is looking like the presidential election will be a matchup between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. As you have created several other .svg polling/delegate count graphs over the course of the primary election season, I am wondering if you can find the time to create one for matchups between the two, with data from here. I am not experienced in graph making, especially svg graphs. Thank you. MB298 (talk) 22:06, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

Yes I plan to eventually make a polling graph for the general election. I'd like to take the data directly from en:Nationwide opinion polling for the United States presidential election, 2016 so we can keep all our info consistent. However, I'd prefer waiting until the Democratic convention or at the very least until Clinton becomes the presumptive nominee (Sanders drops out or she reaches 50% delegates). I think putting a graph beforehand would be met with strong opposition. Although, we could suggest adding a graph on the talk page and see what kind of reaction we get. What do you think? After reading your reply, I agree that the graph should wait until the Democratic convention or, when and if, Clinton receives a majority of delegates to make her the presumptive nominee. I have already created state-by-state maps (File:Trump vs. Clinton by state.svg and File:Trump vs. Sanders by state.svg; one of which will be rendered obsolete once the convention is held. I followed your lead and made two graphs (File:Trump vs. Clinton nationwide.svg and File:Trump vs. Sanders nationwide.svg). Abjiklɐm (tɐlk) 03:42, 24 May 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading a new version of Republican Primaries graph (along with revised R code) :) BytEfLUSh (talk) 02:15, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
Thank you! That's the first barnstar I've received. And thank you for contributing to the code as well :) Abjiklɐm (tɐlk) 04:32, 27 May 2016 (UTC)

Hiya!

I'm wanting to edit this graph you've done so well in creating - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Delegate_gap_for_the_2016_Democratic_Party_presidential_primaries.svg - however, I'm quite technologically inept. Is there a way i can edit this, as have others?

I'll gladly take care of it, but you can do it too :) I suggest you download RStudio, which is a statistical computing and graphics software. Then, all you need to do is run the code here and the updated graph will be directly exported to your default folder. This is true of all the graphs I've uploaded on Commons. They all have their source code on the page to allow everyone to update and improve them. Abjiklɐm (tɐlk) 14:08, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

Nationwide opinion polling for the United States presidential election, 2016

Hello! Thank you for creating the illustration File:Trump vs. Clinton nationwide.svg and for keeping it up to date. Could you possibly create a similar one for the four-way race? I noticed there is source code for the R script on the image for the two-way race, but I'm not sure I'd get it right. --Bensin (talk) 19:48, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

... Would it help if I reformat the table in the article to have separate columns for Sample size and Margin of error, like the table for the two-way race? --Bensin (talk) 01:06, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
Hi Bensin. Yeah I can make a chart for the four-way race. Don't worry about making separate columns, I can get the information I need the way it is. I'll get it done shortly. Abjiklɐm (tɐlk) 09:19, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

What application are you using for the Quebec election polls graph? Iver003 (talk) 17:07, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for the barnstar :) I use RStudio, you can find the source code on the image's page. Abjiklɐm (tɐlk) 18:29, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
