I am an editor on Wikipedia and an admin on Wikimedia Commons. (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Russavia)
I see you have licenced your stream under "© All Rights Reserved", and I was wondering if you would consider relicencing it under CC-BY-SA? This would enable us to use your photos on the various Wikimedia/Wikipedia projects. I know your photos would be perfect to illustrate many articles on numerous projects.
So that it's an easy process to be able to use your photos, and if you agree, could you please do these two things:
- - go to http://www.flickr.com/account/prefs/license/batch/ and choose "Attribution-ShareAlike Creative Commons" and save licence
- - go to http://www.flickr.com/account/prefs/license/ and choose "Attribution-ShareAlike Creative Commons" and then "set default licence"
Once that's done, we will be able to use your photos on our projects.
I thank you for your time in considering this request, regardless of the outcome, and I hope you don't mind me asking (it never hurts to ask).
