Well, I just downloaded the original file from archive.org to my computer and then I reuploaded it. I think that you lost the connection (or something went wrong) when you was uploading/downloading the book -- this would explain why your file had 3kB while the original had 5.24 MB. Uso de logotipos en artículo IndyCar Series

Comprendo muy bien el borrado respecto a los logos de por lo del copyright, pero en la wikipedia en Español, y luego haberlo subido a commons, y de insistir previamente antes de subirlos para que dichos logos fueran puestos en el artículo (IndyCar Series) tomando en cuenta los siguientes logos que ya existen en otras wikipedias de otros idiomas, como:

Mas autarquias são instituições completamente inseridas no serviço público e no ordenamento jurídico do direito administrativo, sendo-lhe aplicadas as mesmas regras da administração direta. Hi. I noticed this diff where you added the no permission tag to File:George Allen Crozet.jpg. (The en:George Allen article is on my watchlist on :en.) I am curious for the reason for this tag. All but two of the user's uploads have EXIF data for this same digital camera and EXIF authorship information for Eduardo Montes-Bradley. On en:, the user edits en:Eduardo Montes-Bradley quite a bit. Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Brasao Estado Minas Gerais / Brasil

Dear colleague, I understand your concerns with regards to the official description and appreciate your attention to the matter. The issue is, the coloured version of the coat of arms is hardly in use, eg. the governor of the state uses a black/white outline., the government the triangle from the flag accompanied with the text "Governo de Minas". I understand, the version from the official government website as the current official interpretation of the official CofA and hold it to be in line with applicable laws. I do not deem it my task to interpret Minas Gerais state law beyond the interpretation of the state government - IMHO, this would constitute something too close to "Original Research". If somebody feels, the linked to version on the government website is incorrect, then the case should not be argued within the realm of WP discussions. An enquiry with the governor of the state, who should by convention also be the guardian of the state insignia, would be more suitable. A similar case, eg. is the Flag of the Brazilian state of Paraiba: here the verbatim text of the law prescribes the word NÉGO to be in the red field of the flag. The state government interprets, that after a spelling reform also the historic reference ought to be adjusted, and uses the text on the flag without the accent on the E. Again, I leave the interpretation of the law to the state. I suggest, any discussion should be continued on the items talk page, which I have annotated accordingly. I'm very happy that someone else cares about flags and CoA, particularly the ones from Brazil. I understand that may be differences between the description based and the de facto CoA. All I want is avoid that wikipedia shows wrong information, wich, as we know, will spread fast by others websites. Don't worry: I'll not change the file before discuss. That red color is the same used in File:Bandeira do Estado de São Paulo.svg, wich is specified in the Visual Identity Manual, p. 15 (RGB:196-0-8/#C40008). But if we pay attention, we can notice that this manual uses RGB colors and itself doesn't follow its specifications. ¬¬. I needed to crop the image and uploaded a new version and now the thumbnails arn't generating. Could you possibly fix this again? Thank you for your help. There is no mistake... it's not a matter of skewed "file" (you're right, the file and the crescent is OK). To me, it's just strange to use skewed stars... usually flags use symmetrical stars (so if you rotate the star in 72º, the falg will be the same); I don't remember flags using skewed stars. SVG header declarations

I've only been using Firefox since 2009; before that time I knew nothing and cared nothing about Firefox. And all my files which don't contain xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" contain <!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.0//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-SVG-20010904/DTD/svg10.dtd"> (an SVG which contains neither won't display on Wikimedia Commons). My main platform for testing SVG files has always been Adobe SVG plugin (not either Inkscape or Firefox), and Adobe SVG plugin version 1.0 (widely distributed with early releases of Windows XP) would refuse to display a file containing xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg". During the early years of uploading SVG's, I was actually more concerned with Adobe SVG plugin version 1.0 compatibility than Firefox compatibility... AnonMoos (talk) 13:00, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

O problema era que eu havia enviado a nova versão porque haviam duas fotos que não eram de Natal (a da Praia da Pipa, que não fica em Natal e sim em Tibau do Sul; e a outra era a das dunas, que fica vizinho a Natal, em Extremoz). Eu não havia entendido o que o Anon perguntou porque eu nunca foi bom em língua inglesa. Eu venho também trabalhando com bandeiras ultimamente, além dos mapas. E agora? Boa tarde, Giro. Aquelas imagens eu costumo carregar em "png" porque "jpg" é mais um tipo de imagem que praticamente eu não gosto muito. Quanto à permissão OTRS, eu logo logo enviarei (simplesmente havia carregado porque, no final da página, existia um aviso dizendo É permitida a reprodução do conteúdo desta página em qualquer meio de comunicação, eletrônico ou impresso, desde que citada a fonte e o autor.). Foi daí que eu carreguei. Já em relação à imagem sobre Pau dos Ferros, será que eu poderia carregar uma nova versão antes de ela ser eliminada? Agradeço a melhora naquela imagem "png".

Hi, i'm a contributor of the french Wikipedia. I just realized that you suppressed all layers information from this file. But layers are a very useful feature for artists learning heraldry. The use of the different layers is important to them, to understand where they should put the components of the coat of arms they're working on. So, can you please tell me why you deliberately deleted those layers? Hi Flappiefh. Thanks for your message. My intention was remove the unused gradients and make the drawing more light and accurate. When I redrew it, I saw no reason to keep groups for layers composed by just 1 element, but I thing I get the point now. The inkscape:label (with "Fond écu", "Meubles", etc,) is also usefull to identify the layers, right? The contour and reflection layers should be locked. I'm missing anything else? Boa tarde, várias vezes fui avisada por violar as regras de licenciamento, gostaria de saber como é que eu sei qual é a licença a utilizar, alguns sites não especificam nada sobre direitos autorais, logo como posso saber qual a licença utilizada. Gostaria também que me esclarecesse se um print screen ou fotografia tirados por mim de uma imagem ou vídeo de outros autores é considerado de minha própria autoria ou não. Aguardo resposta.
