Change it all back[edit]

@Arflhn: If this new template is really necessary, instead of just editing the currently used ones to match the changed cat name model, then you must include in it all their previous functionalities, as created by other editors upon slowly accumulated consensus: That will be the three parents cats and their sortkeys, the title box with next and prev. arrows, and the ability to add an example image. -- Tuválkin 09:56, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The «ability to add an example image» is now available in the new template. (All is now needed for it to work is to manually reinstate all the uses you removed — which I am doing now, leaving aside more productive work.)
Please take care of the rest ASAP, especially the matter parent cat sortkeys: The current model (with the faulty sorting of 4, 40, 401, 402 etc) is being implemented upon each new edit and it will be necessary to enact null edits to get it all tidy again, meanwhile each parent cat presenting mixed sorting, which is even worse than bad (but coheremt) sorting.

I meanwhile added also the navbox, but you still need to work on the sortkeys. (And by the way, I’m not saying it was a terrible thing to create a new centralized template, especially since {{OnRoute}} was left unfinished — but make sure you keep the good parts of the old stuff when you make improvements.) -- Tuválkin 17:29, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Arflhn: I must insist on the sortkeys. It’s not looking right (example). -- Tuválkin 17:15, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Tuvalkin:
I was absent for a while, the "4" sortkey is the problem ? Arflhn (talk) 12:42, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes: It should be an "R" for "route", not a "4". Much the same way the other subcat should be under "F" for "Fleet". Or both could have a commont top sortkey, such as an asterisk or a space. -- Tuválkin 13:03, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
