Deutsch: Das Rittergut in Schlottenhof (Arzberg, Bayern-Deutschland). Ehewappen von Benckendorff und von Wiesenthau. «Oa. 1749 Am tag S. Bartholomei [= 24. August] Nachts zwischen 10 und 11 uhr hat ein zündender Blitz Stadel, Schupfen und die Bedachung dißes gantzen Gebäudes in Flammen gesetset und nebst den Pherd-Stall und kleinen Gewölb in 3 stunden in Asche und Schutt geleget. Under dem Annochtigen Besitzer aber Georg Siegmund von Benckendorff auf Schlottenhof, Göppmannsbühl, Seybothenreuth, Leben und Cobersdorff, Hochfürstl, Sacßen Weimar und Eyssenach: Hoff Regierungs Rath und Cammer-Junckern und dessen geliebten Ehegemahlin Carolina Dorthea Friderica gebohrnen von Wiesenthau aber sind solche in 4 Jahren wieder hergestellet und dieses Thorhauß von Grund aus neu erbautet worden.» (Friedrich Wilhelm Singer: Der Brunnen-Wastl erzählt.
