English: Jacobus Capitein: Political-theological dissertation about slavery, not contrary to Christian freedom. Leiden, by Samuel Luchtmans & sons, 1742. The engraving by B.F. Immink (active 1728 - 1743) shows a sun above a harbor with five slaves, the fort of Elmina in Ghana, two ships and a dinghy. An angel holds up a banner with the text Evangelion (Gospel, EUAG / GELI / ON, ΕΥΑΓ / ΓΕΛΙ / ΟΝ in Greek.
Nederlands: Jacobus Capitein: Politiek-theologisch proefschrift over de slavernij, als niet strijdig met Christelijke vrijheid. Leiden, uitgegeven door Samuel Luchtmans & zoon, 1742.

Gravure door B.F. Immink (actief 1728 - 1743) toont een zon boven een haven met vijf slaven, het fort van Elmina in Ghana, twee schepen en een sloep. Een engel houdt een banier omhoog me de tekst Evangelion (Evangelie, EUAG/GELI/ON, ΕΥΑΓ/ΓΕΛΙ/ΟΝ in het Grieks.
