Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Piano Improvising & Re-edition: 'INCH WORM _ Frank Loesser' (Main melody with various major seventh accompaniment-forms) - A learnt & Exercising Version created from Ray d’Inverno 's Teaching version on the Educational platform Future Learn): This sound file was a beginning edition of 'INCH WORM' (Frank Loesser) for educational purpose following three educational series - TAWTUTB "Things Ain't What They Used To Be" ( Mercer Ellington), Now's The Time' (Charlie Parker) and 'Blue Monk' (Thelonious Monk), which I had created.

Piano improvising techniques, such as pizzicato, rolling major seventh chord, arpeggio-progression running, double hands-crossed ornamentation, chord-sharing harmony upon both hands, and so on, have been applied for enriching forms of musical expressions. Meanwhile, speeds have been designed in a natural way with a 'rit.' pushing up to a peak part. Caused by the limitation of time and energy, first draft here was heard a little bit 'rough', which needs free-time's self-training for enhancing and fixing on those effects of piano technique-elements in the future. We can try to expect... About its background knowledge, we can refer to Wikipedia introductions: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inchworm_(song), and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Loesser) In my mind, it's like in a boy's fantistic dream riding upon his mount's shoulders over cloudy candies in a colourful sky of imagintion. Hopefully, you can enjoy it!
