Summary[edit]

Description Two New Routemasters of Go-Ahead London seen here in Trafalgar Square - On the left is LT282 of their London General subsidiary (wearing a special advert livery), while on the right is LT420 of their London Central subsidiary. They've both recently started new southbound journeys in central London, and will soon cross the river on Westminster Bridge and then run across south east London to their respective destinations - LT282 working route 453 to Deptford Bridge, LT420 to Dulwich library on route 12. Route 453 received the type last Autumn, while the 12 is a more recent conversion, occurring in the last few months. Quite why they're in different lanes is a mystery - both will be using the same roads from here all the way to Elephant & Castle, where they will then diverge.
