  • In accordance of Quansi 1999 Document No. 50 (权司[1999]第50号) of former National Copyright Administration, "mandatory standards are technical standards with legal natures...", so the copyright protection is inapplicable pursuant to Article 5 of the Copyright Law of the People’s Republic of China.
  • In accordance of Mandatory National Standard Administration Measures, Article 51, "Where a mandatory national standard is formulated with reference to relevant international standards, the copyright policy of the relevant international standardization organization shall be observed." Therefore, all mandatory National Standards formulated with reference to relevant international standards have their copyrights implemented in accordance with the copyright policies of the corresponding standardization organizations.
