Description
Français : Cette gravure montre un panorama de la ville Genève vu du sud. En deçà des fortifications on peut voir des maisons et leurs annexes, les jardins de Plainpalais, on distingue deux puits dont un à balancier. Plus en avant coule l'Arve (de droite à gauche). Au premier plan se trouvent quelques bâtiments (à Lancy ?). L'alignement des bâtiments de la Corraterie puis des hôtels particuliers de la rue des Granges domine les murailles et jardins. La tour de l'Île (à la droite des deux barques sur le Léman) indique la position des ponts sur le Rhône, on ne voit que son sommet, et devant le bastion de Hollande.
