Image request - State of Vietnam / South Vietnam

• 
  The image of the coat of arms of the State of Vietnam showing a Chinese dragon in a shield with the national South Vietnamese flag.

  The coat of arms of South Vietnam (1954 - 1955), note that the dragon faces leftwards rather than rightward, and that the shield 🛡 has a different shape.

I recently found the coat of arms of the State of Vietnam and the first coat of arms of South Vietnam on an old passport issued by the country. Currently on Wikimedia Commons there exists the second image which is different in several ways.

I do not want to request a replacement of "File:Coat of Arms of South Vietnam (1954 - 1955).svg" with a new image, rather I am requesting for the creation for two new images, one being a version of the coat of arms depicted on the passport and one of "a golden outline" (basically the image but without the red background), both in SVG. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 23:02, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

Names for subtypes of Norman_window-like shapes?

I am in the process of categorizing plaques by shape, and I would like to know if the heraldic tradition has already coined terms for various types of shapes that look like what mathematicians call a Norman window shape.

• 
  Regular "Norman window" shape in which the semicircle's diameter is equal to the width of the rectangle under it (the door frame; not the plaques).
• 
  Irregular "Norman window" shape in which the semicircle's diameter is smaller than the width of the rectangle under it.
• 
  Irregular "Norman window" shape in which the semicircle's diameter is larger than the width of the rectangle under it.

Looks like Spanish escutcheon (Q730399) is the closest equivalent in heraldry, although technically, it would be upside down. —Iketsi (talk) 06:10, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

Marine-Drapeau-Pavillon-Chine-Japon-Coree-litho-1858

I have been looking for a 1958 work for sometime now named "Marine-Drapeau-Pavillon-Chine-Japon-Coree-litho-1858", links for reference:

The story is that there is a flag used on most Wikipedia's attributed to be the Nguyễn Dynasty's flag, a Globally Locked 🔒 Socknamed I master "Musée Annam" repeatedly uploads and inserts this flag everywhere, but rather than importing the source to Wikimedia Commons, he just uploaded the flag by itself. He did learn some of the advice I gave him, his latest caught sock uploaded some contemporary references to coats of arms and flags, but this specific one seems to have become "unfindable" on the internet, or at least, I might be looking in the wrong places. Preferably I would like to find this work to verify this, as this debate has been going on for the better part of a decade and constantly both sides are at each other, on one hand a pro-Dragon Star faction fueled by sockpuppet activity asserts the claim based on modern sources while on the other side "the Removers" fight this claiming that no contemporary sources mention it. From my own research I did manage to find this flag... In the 1700's many decades before the establishment of the country, so finding this specific source would be a major help in confirming the Sockmaster's vandal-like (more like, vandal-lite, amirite) editing. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 05:53, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

Arms, Flags and Types of Nations

I found this series of collectible cards that are now in the public domain, unfortunately I simply don't have the time to import all of these cards to Wikimedia Commons, but I believe that these images should all be hosted on Wikimedia Commons.
