Name of this page[edit]

Hello, is Partnerships really the good name for this page? There are also the results of photo rallyes in it.--Ziko (talk) 20:50, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think that "partnership" fits for all items except Wiki loves Monument, as I cannot think of any other name, I would rather sugggest to move that one.--Zolo (talk) 08:37, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

According to the page, the partnership with Versailles led to no uploads yet. As this is false, I suggest you link back to the appropriate category (there is more than one) and check if the same happens for other cases. --Elitre (talk) 11:18, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done Created a category to gather all uploads. Jean-Fred (talk) 13:01, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for places to reach out to[edit]

Do we have a place that we can discuss GLAM institutions that we would like to reach to, and summarize the history of our communication with them? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 22:16, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to open Commons talk:GLAM :-)
The main discussions are probably happening on outreach:GLAM
Jean-Fred (talk) 22:45, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've added links to both commons:GLAM and the outreach wiki GLAM portal (glamwiki.org) in the text at the top of the page. Wittylama (talk) 04:20, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Photo counts are false[edit]

For Garros and the Museo del Objeto del Objeto, the photo counts are way wrong. Garros donated 651,not 30! and the Museo donated over forty. How can this be fixed?148.241.190.81 14:42, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I guess these are the numbers from {{PAGESINCATEGORY}} parser function/ magic word and the categories have been (re)moved. -- Rillke(q?) 11:01, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The count doesn't include the subcategories. For Musées départementaux de la Haute-Saône, the difference is 2400 to 360 :\ It's an handicap to valorise partnership. Tounoki (talk) 16:12, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Crosspost[edit]

Sorry if this message is a little bit unusual, but I've been looking for help for some days now. Is there a GLAM-friendly operator for this? Thanks.--Elitre (talk) 19:13, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedian in Residence[edit]

I'm organizing a residence at Brown University's Institution:Ladd Observatory in w:Providence, Rhode Island. A draft of the project description is at Outreach:Wikipedian in Residence/Ladd Observatory. Any feedback, suggestions or help spreading the word would be greatly appreciated. Bringing over translations[edit]

I've tagged the last of the rows for translations and copied over many of the German translations at Commons:Kooperationen. It would be good if someone could copy over the last ones, and add any rows available there but missing here so that that parallel page can be closed. Ideally the same would be done for the Russian and Chinese pages. /Lokal_Profil 12:55, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information on Numismática Pliego partnership[edit]

Hi

I would like to mention one small-scale partnership between Wikimedia Spain and Numismática Pliego, a privately-owned vendor of coins and other collectibles. In May 2013 we started uploading images of old Spanish coins from their website, which they have agreed to release under CC-BY-SA license. So far, 239 files have been added to Commons. All of them can be found in Category:Images of coins from Pliego. More information, in Spanish, in this blog post.

Can you please add this partnership to the table? I tried to do it myself but the code looks rather intimidating.

New relevant page on Nations and Wikipedia[edit]

en:Wikipedia:Nations and Wikipedia is a meta page to accumulate and help organize ways nations/governments and Wikipedia interact and for the Wikipedia community to establish relevant policies, guidelines and help. Commons-related partnerships can be one such interaction. I thought you might be interested in this page. Please share your thoughts on it on its talk page.
