The main list of such mirrors used to be on internal.wikimedia.org and then m:Live mirrors but nowadays WMF is not very interested in defending users so the lists are mostly maintained by local wikis. I added several domains on the English Wikipedia list after finding copyright violations with https://infringement.report/ (basically mass searches on Google Images). There is one guy (or few closely coordinated people) who alone bought dozens of parked domains and then transformed them in linkfarms filled with Commons images. For such things reporting with https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/93713 has had some (small) success because you can potentially cut their sources of money i.e. Google ads. @Nemo bis: thanks. I made this list to help keep track of files that were being uploaded from clones as well as having something to point to if anyone proposes deletion because they think the clone is the source. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 15:48, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
