video2commons é uma ferramente para fazer upload or gravações de áudio de URL ou dos seus dispositivos para Wikimedia Commons. Automaticamente converte os arquivos carregados para um formato compatível com Commons. Inclui funcionalidade como remover áudio, legendas, vídeo; estas estão ativadas por definição. A ferramente usa OAuth para iniciar sessão.

Como funciona

  1. Visite https://video2commons.toolforge.org e inicie sessão.
  2. Selecione "Adicionar tarefa..."
  3. Selecione o vídeo que quer convertido
    1. Se não quiser áudio, vídeo ou legends, desselecione as opções de importação
  4. Preencha o moledo para descrição do aruivo e adicione categorias
  5. Pressione "Confirmar". A conversão vai começar na nuvem:
    • o primeiro passo irá inicar uma barra de carregamento
    • o segundo passo vai mostrar uma barra de avançamento, com uma indicação da porcentagem restante
  6. O vídeo convertido será automaticamente carregado ao Commons

Note que não será possível carregar um arquivo se já existe uma página no Commons com o mesmo nome.

Você pode fechar o navegador enquanto a tarefa está em curso, já que a conversão é feita no servidor, não no seu computador.

Você também pode criar mais tarefas. Elas serão adicionadas a fila e publicadas quando acabadas.
