Image alignment question

I have a question about an image which is currently on the en: server but has been flagged as a possible candidate for transfer to commons, which personally strikes me as inappropriate but I'm not sure whether or not we have a policy against the issue I have with it.

My question pertains to en:File:Manos Krystalis, Modeling in front of Corvette, Los Angeles CA, October 2012.jpg. Namely, do we have any rule that explicitly prohibits rotating the photo so that it's angled, with superfluous whitespace filling the corners of the image's overall bitspace, instead of upright? I certainly hope so, because the image is frankly ridiculous and strikes me as not at all appropriate for use in an encyclopedia, but I don't know for sure whether we do or not. Could somebody take a look at this and determine whether it needs to be deleted or not? Bearcat (talk) 23:41, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

Bearcat I don't know about a rule (though I could be wrong), but most would agree purposely putting a image at a angle like that is a bit ridiculous. I went ahead and rotated the image to a proper orientation. - Offnfopt(talk) 08:09, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
Edit: Commons:Media_for_cleanup#Unnecessary_borders is generally accepted practice, so I guess that would count. - Offnfopt(talk) 08:14, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
That file should not be transferred here, as it's not clear who the author is or that they have approved the stated licensing. Looking at the following photos from the same uploader, he states that the subject of the photos is the "photo owner" (whatever that means). The uploader's own photos have metadata from a Samsung NX1000. That one doesn't have any metadata and is visibly different in style from the uploader's own photos.
