Shaky videos

Request
Is it possible to remove shaking on a video? Regards, Yann (talk) 12:49, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
Graphist opinion(s)

@Yann: ✓ Done for 4 and 1, not done for 3 as the windshield wipers were confusing the stabilizer and degrading the video. The current revision is stabilized with a smoothing of 30 frames and a crop of 5 percent, the previous version does not have the crop applied. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 15:04, 21 January 2019 (UTC)

Thanks a lot, that's great! Yann (talk) 11:58, 22 January 2019 (UTC)

add CC sound file from YouTube

Article(s): en:spiccato and en:Ezra Jenkinson

Request
Hi, can you add this recording to Commons as a sound file? I've asked the two musicians and they changed the video from the standard YouTube licence to a CC licence for us. Thanks, --Gnom (talk) 19:44, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

✓ Done, I imported the audio in ogg with Video2commons. The file is here: File:Violinist Bernard Chevalier Jenkinson's Elves Dance.opus. Skimel (talk) 06:11, 9 November 2018 (UTC)

Great, thank you very much, Skimel! --Gnom (talk) 12:28, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
You're welcome ;) Video2commons is very easy to use! Skimel (talk) 12:43, 9 November 2018 (UTC)

Rotate train video

Request
Video needs to be rotated 90 degrees. Commons:Video mentions tagging with {{Rotate}}, whereas the template documentation specifically states not to use it for videos. Mindmatrix 12:34, 8 August 2018 (UTC)

Please adjust the brightness of this video.

Article(s): en:Power move

Request
Please brighten this video.
I took it in pretty low lighting (and in slow motion to boot); if this were a still image, I'd use auto-levels or the like, but my efforts to brighten the video have all come out wrong. There's some balance of brightness, contrast and gamma that makes sense here; I just haven't found it yet. --grendel|khan 01:05, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

Cut sound recordings

Article(s): en:Emanuel Pahud, en:Syrinx (Debussy), en:12 Fantasias for Solo Flute (Telemann)

Request
Hi, I've been negotiating with Warner Music to get a release for these two files, but they will only allow 30-second bits. Can someone make a nice cut (i.e. very fast fadeout) somewhere around the 30-second mark? It should be possible for both recordings because they both have a phrase ending very close to the 30-second mark. Please let me know if I should describe more precisely where I think the cuts should be made. --Gnom (talk) 13:02, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
Graphist opinion(s)

✓ Done – cut and uploaded new versions of both files. --Samiclaus (talk) 15:17, 9 November 2018 (UTC)

@Gnom: , Good job negociating a 30 seconds authorization with Warner! Could you provide a link where the license is available? There is nothing on the website of Warner that proves that the files are in CCBYSA. Otherwise, I think you will need to go through OTRS to prove the licensing of the files. Skimel (talk) 08:05, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
Yes, Skimel, it's not been easy – we've been negotiating since April. They will email a release to the OTRS team once we have everything in place (see my second request below). --Gnom (talk) 10:46, 10 November 2018 (UTC)

Cut video

Article(s): en:Emanuel Pahud, en:Pierre-Octave Ferroud

Request
Hi, I've been negotiating with Warner Music to get a release for this file, but they will only allow a shortened version. Can someone make a nice cut (fade) from ~0:46 to ~2:14 to shorten the video? Tnanks, --Gnom (talk) 21:09, 9 November 2018 (UTC) Fuzheado, maybe you can help here? --Gnom (talk) 15:21, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

Hi Habitator terrae, I am sorry but you misunderstood my request. I'd like to keep the following parts: 0:00 to ~0:46 and ~2:14 to the end, and to cutthe middle part from ~0:46 to ~2:14. Can you make this change? Thanks, --Gnom (talk) 17:08, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
@Gnom: ✓ Done, I added a little transition, it is OK? Habitator terrae 🌍 17:47, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
