The picture on that site is a portrait of Pietro Perugino by Lorenzo di Credi. I'm not aware of any extant contemporary portraits of Verrocchio. --Claritas (talk) 12:44, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
  • There is a disputed painting of Vercocchio in the Uffizi, by his student, Lorenzo di Credi (often credited with drawings formerly attributed to Leonardo). Vasari's Lives had a biography of him, and an edition had an engraving of Vercocchio's portrait, done in 1568, which is clearly based on the aforementioned painting (shown in reverse, probably because it was drawn onto the wood directly, rather than transferred, which would have reversed the drawing, then the print would have reversed it back to "normal").
A little bit of this painting in this YouTube video. Sturm (talk) 12:10, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
  • I am looking for a photo of the painting Mountain and SEa of Helen Frankenthaler - she is an american woman-artist in Abstract Expressionism, 1950-1970's. I like to place the image of her her most famous painting to her quotes on en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Helen_Frankenthaler. FotoDutch (talk) 08:01, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
@FotoDutch: upload a 100000px fair use copy to en.wikipedia.org or en.wikiquote.org not commons.wikimedia.org from https://www.wikiart.org/en/helen-frankenthaler/mountains-and-sea-1962

Fantasy Art

  • looking for illustrations of Fairies, Elves, Dwarfs, Dragons etc...
  • I am looking for illustrations and art of Dragons, including Wyverns, European and Chinese dragons. There is not enough dragon art on here. The images should be added to the Dragons category of the Commons.

Engravings

Sebastien Le Clerc's engraving of the Battle of Vienna (with the words "DEFFAITE DES TURCS PRES DE VIENNE", possibly of large resolution

Hi ! The woman in charge of the complete original collection of Sebastien Le Clerc's engravings at the Médiathèque de Metz can scan this engraving for you. But it will take some time to find it as the artist was so prolific and his work is not classified. Contact : Ms Anne D. at http://bm.mairie-metz.fr/clientbookline/home.asp. Good luck ! Sculptures

It would be great to have a picture of Susanne Müller-Diefenbach’s black crucifix, in the Evangelische Martinsgemeinde, Tübingen. There is one picture on the website but that seems to be the only one on the Internet. The sculpture played an important role in the development of the theology of Jürgen Moltmann. --Cameron.coombe (talk) 10:27, 18 January 2019 (UTC)

A statue of the character Naruto Uzumaki was made in Japan as noted here https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2019-06-03/naruto-gets-life-size-figure-in-china/.147441 If somebody takes a picture of the statue. I would appreciate it.Tintor2 (talk) 01:00, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
