This image will be added to the FP gallery: Non-photographic media
@Ikan Kekek: That was my concern also, what should we put it in? The nominator should have specified this--BoothSift 04:18, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Probably non-photographic media, but does closing work the same way for sets as for individual photos? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:26, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Ikan Kekek and Boothsift: Set nominations are closed the same way as normal noms. The name of the nom replaces the file name. The only difference is that the closer has to find the right category for it since it is not specified in the nomination by the nominator. This is a remnant from the old days when sets were just placed in their own "set category". It hasn't been used in ages, and sets now go into the normal categories. Take a look at how I closed this nom. Cheers, --Cart (talk) 09:36, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's alright. The main thing is that you nominated an FP set. Cart, thank you for showing us how it's done. Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:44, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@W.carter and Ikan Kekek: Oh, one thing (which I've done) - you need to add the Assessments template manually. If you look on the image pages, you'll see the format to use. The com-nom parameter is weird and badly documented. Adam Cuerden (talk) 15:23, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ah yes, I forgot about that. I don't find the com-nom in assessments that strange, you just add the name of the nom you want the "considered" to point to, in this case |com-nom=L'enfant et les sortilèges|. --Cart (talk) 15:31, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • It does act differently to every other FPC process, though, in that it gatekeeps nomination names, by only accepting the specific standard formats. enwiki-nom has different formatting, for instance (despite, as I recall, a brief attempt by Commons to force Commons standards onto en-wiki FPCs.) • @Ikan Kekek: As a simple example, if a file is nominated on commons as Commons:Featured picture candidates/File:Foo.jpg and on en-wiki as Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/File:Foo.jpg - it's put into assessments as:

com-nom=Foo.jpg|enwiki-nom=File:Foo.jpg - and there are some ways to break assessments. For example, renominate a file under Commons:Featured picture candidates/Image:Foo.jpg instead of File: and I believe everything breaks horribly. There's no way to give an exact link with com-nom. Your example is clear as far as it goes, but I still don't know where you put assessment tags. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:05, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
