- Info A moonlight-only photo of the landscape around a small marina. -- cart-Talk 14:25, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

- Comment 1. I'm not decided on supporting or opposing, but it should be noted that “night-shots are pretty but normally more details can be shown on pictures taken at daytime” per FP guidelines. 2. In a strange way, your image looks like an extremely underexposed daylight shot (not that this must be a bad thing). 3. The quality is not the best with the color noise and lack of sharpness. – Lucas T 14:59, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- I admit that this is an experiment since most night photos are shouted down as "too dark". As I have already provided a whole category of daylight photos from this location, I thought it would be nice include an artistic night-shot as well. Especially since this shot also conveys some information, such as that there are no lamps here even though it is in a populated area with many houses, a bit of an oddity in these modern times. We all know what the guidelines say about night-shots and sunsets, but some still get promoted from time to time. :) --cart-Talk 15:13, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose No wow at all I'm afraid. Charles (talk) 17:55, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- Comment - To me, this has some wow. I enjoyed this and the other moonlit photo I saw of this motif in QIC, and I thought about whether either of the photos were featurable. And my answer is that I'm not sure. I like the sky, the reflection of the moon over the lake, the tree, even the dark hills. What gives me pause is the large pitch black areas of the house. Those don't impart much information. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:25, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support Per Ikan. But anyway. -- Johann Jaritz (talk) 05:19, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
- Moderate support I find on close examination that I like the ... well, not quite mood, but just the overall subtlety. Daniel Case (talk) 15:46, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
- Neutral You've said this above, this is quite dark while I think that the second Holma Marina image is far better (and I would prefer to support that one). --Basotxerri (talk) 19:18, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- I do see your point since, technically speaking, that one is better but I find this more interesting. Let's give this a few more days and see what happens. Thanks for your comment. --cart-Talk 20:42, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support Very high quality. And I think this one is better, with something more "fragile", and therefore more interesting. Maybe due to the cloud coverind the moon for part. Anyway, ir works for me.--Jebulon (talk) 23:00, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose no wow (no visible moon). --Alchemist-hp (talk) 01:08, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose No wow to me, but good on you for breaking the mold and trying something different -- Thennicke (talk) 11:01, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- I withdraw my nomination Thanks for votes and for input, all appreciated. Hopefully, someone will someday be able to do a dark moonlight only FP. --cart-Talk 13:48, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
