- Comment Sorry Adam, but you can't display other big files like this on the nom, even if they are under a extend banner, the Bot will read these as 'alternatives' and your nomination will get messed up. Please remove these and only show them as file names: File:French Battleship Justice by the Detroit Publishing Co, 1909 - Sample of original image.jpg and File:French Battleship Justice by the Detroit Publishing Co, 1909 - Sample of restored image.jpg. Perhaps this would be better in the 'Historical' gallery? Thanks. --Cart (talk) 14:58, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
- Done. And I could see going either way for galleries. Adam Cuerden (talk) 15:04, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
- Comment The linked files don't open Adam Charlesjsharp (talk) 21:17, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Charlesjsharp: Odd, they work for me... um... try here to see them. Adam Cuerden (talk) 01:14, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Charlesjsharp: The linked files do open, but they are not in the "standard" shape, like 16:9 or 3:2, just long cropped versions of the original, long strips, 430 px wide and 3277 pixels high. You are mistaking the unusual ratio of these cropped versions for files that "don't open". --Cart (talk) 05:51, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
- Oh! OK, thanks. I didn't see that they were cropped images. Charlesjsharp (talk) 11:56, 27 July 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose Well done and interesting, but in my eye this is a clear VI and not a FP. Wow-effect and quality are below the FP-bar. --Milseburg (talk) 09:45, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
