- Info Exhibition Hall of the German Historical Museum at dawn. Architect of the building: Ieoh Ming Pei. I've waited more than a year until I could finally take this photograph. The problem has been that there were always objects in front of the building. Sometimes there were bikes, sometimes cars, sometimes some strange (and large) pieces of art. Then I had to wait for a while for perfect light conditions. Now I finally got the picture I wanted. I hope you like it as much as I do. I know that there's a small amount of graininess on the right side where the sky is brighter. I don't think I could really avoid that. As you might notice the aperture already was quite wide with f/7.1 and a longer exposure time would have ruined the light situation (and would have caused star trails), so I had to increase the ISO speed up to 800. Additionally I have to say that in situations like these you often only have the choice between a small amount of noise or a little bit of posterization and in these cases I prefer the noise. Photograph created, uploaded and nominated by me. -- Code (talk) 17:36, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

- Support Nice light and very elegant. I'm glad you didn't cut the bollards to make this 16:9. --cart-Talk 18:11, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- Ha, ha, you saw my suggestion to Code. Well, it wasn't so much making it 16:9 as getting rid of the road. -- Colin (talk) 20:04, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support The noise in the sky is marginal compared to the composition and mood, details are good too. If it is not FP then not much should be IMO. Christian Ferrer (talk) 18:16, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support per others. Compliments on your untraily stars, in addition to everything else. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:56, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
