Improving usefulness[edit]
I've started to try to improve the usefulness of this category and its taxonomic subcategories. Figuring that those familiar with the genera and species names can navigate to the subcategories, I'm "cleaning up" this category to reserve it for the two subfamilies, Category:Phaethornithinae and Category:Trochilinae and various "layman-oriented" subcategories such as Category:Hummingbirds feeding and Category:Perched hummingbirds, which I'm in the process of populating. - dcljr (talk) 00:11, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Other genera[edit]
Are we going to mention on this page the genera distinguished by some from Amazilia (Agyrtria, Polyerata, and Saucerottia) or the one from Lampornis (Oreopyra)? How? - dcljr (talk) 00:47, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
