Category talk:People who died by suicide

 Oppose the rename from "people" to "deaths". The current name is better. This is category of people, not only of their deaths. --ŠJů (talk) 19:33, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
"Deaths by suicide" naturally implies suicide by people, and is more in line with the naming convention among the subcategories of "Category:Dead people by manner of death". Alternatively, I have no objection if, for consistency, all the subcategories of that category are renamed to refer to people, e.g., "Category:People who have died from duelling" instead of "Category:Deaths from duelling", and "Category:People who have died from drowning" instead of "Category:Deaths from drowning". However, the "Deaths from ..." category names are shorter and convey the same meaning. — Cheers, JackLee talk 20:34, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
