Speedy cat[edit]

@4nn1l2: Why shouldn't this cat be in Category:Candidates for speedy deletion? Are the members of this cat not "Candidates for speedy deletion" under COM:CSD#F1? Pinging @Sekretariat MASTEL as proposer.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 09:35, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jeff G.: I agree with you Jeff. That's why I restored the category. You should blame Sekretariat MASTEL for removing it. 4nn1l2 (talk) 09:59, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Lydia Hamilton Updated Headshot.jpg[edit]

Hello, I’m new to the community and am hoping I can get assistance with an image that was tagged for speedy deletion.

Some background: I originally uploaded [[1]] as my own work, as it is a photo of me, that was commissioned by me. However I quickly learned that the photographer, Krlamar has the rights to the image and should have been the one to upload.

I then walked the Krlamar through the process to create his own Commons account and upload; taking care to enter categories, etc. He uploaded a new image [[2]].

The request for speedy deletion also incorrectly indicates that this is the same photo. It is not, as the Krlamar further edited the image prior to upload.

I am kindly requesting that the request for speedy deletion on [[3]] be removed. Also, I have no issue with [[4]] being deleted by an admin.

"Backlog Notice" malfunctioning[edit]

The backlog notice is not hiding as it's supposed to when this category and subcategories have fewer than 150 items. As this is written, there have been well below 150 items for quite some time, yet the notice persists.  JGHowes  talk 18:39, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why so extreme slow in Category:Copyright violations?[edit]

All people knows: U.S.A. First! - In "Uncategorizied files" are ca. 60% from the USA, 30% from the United Kingdom, 9 % from India and 1% from all other countries of the world. USA First!, we know. And ca. the same percents are in "Copyright violations". USA First! - But in cleaning the Category:Copyright violations are U.S.A. The Last! - Here are working people from Germany, France, China, Spain, and other countries, and only some times 1 ore 2 from the english-native speaker-countries USA and UK. And the Americans and Britishs play only a guest role. They clean only ONE or TWO files and than is finish with the hard work. Here are waiting files 10 days and longer and the desaster on the other deletions sites is the same. The nations with the most dirt do the least for cleaning.
