Architectural structures that do not conform to the typical or conventional forms of veranda, but which nonetheless appear to be verandas.
Typical verandas are constructed at ground level, as an extension of the ground floor. In Queensland, the "ground" floor of a building is often elevated on posts to well above actual ground level, making the veranda appear in some respects similar to a balcony.
The images in this category are of structures that are at even greater variance from the norm.
