Please stop being rude
[edit]Please stop with personnal insults in my talk page. If you are really interested in contributing to QIC, you are welcome and may well start by reading carefully the quality images guidelines, concerning size and other things. Image Tagging Image:100 0586.JPG
[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:100 0586.JPG. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multilicense GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you.

OTRS required
[edit]Hi, I noticed you obtained permission to use File:Pont La Roche Bernard.jpg on Wikipedia from the author - but any such permission for a previously published work must be confirmed through the Commons:OTRS process. If you don't the image will have to be deleted. Please let me know if you have any questions. Dcoetzee (talk) 10:48, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
File tagging File:Pont La Roche Bernard.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Pont La Roche Bernard.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Pont La Roche Bernard.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Copyright status: File:Côte_de_belle-ile.JPG
[edit]This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:Côte_de_belle-ile.JPG. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

Why did you remove twice the Category:Vehicles facing left? This is a boat and a boat is a kind of vehicle and it's facing left. So, where's your problem?

[edit]Salut Toubabmaster!
A bientôt, fcm.

--Toubabmaster (talk) 14:02, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
Sorry Mr Wknight, but i'm not the man who have Digitizing this map. You have to delete it. --Toubabmaster (talk) 14:12, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter. No one can claim copyright to an exact copy of a map that is 300 hundred years old. Wknight94 talk 14:15, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Be carrefull with the copyright status. You can't speak about PD-old because to keep this licence, the right must come from the personn who have Digitizing the maps. I think that peopole like you, who block, whitout undrestand after war edddit is not a good thing for this place. --Toubabmaster (talk) 14:21, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- See my comment above. Simply scanning an image is not creative enough to create a new copyright. Only the copyright of the original author is relevant, and in the case of old maps, it has expired. So {{PD-scan}} would be the correct license. –Tryphon☂ 14:41, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- You know what happening in tree days. I will continue to put the copyvio template whithout explanation from Wknight94. --Toubabmaster (talk) 23:36, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Please don't do that, it will only earn you another (longer) block. If you really think those images are copyright violations, the correct thing to do is opening a deletion request. But if your only issue is the rights associated with digitalization, I can already predict the outcome; as I tried to explain to you, the digitalization process involves no creativity, and is therefore not eligible for copyright. –Tryphon☂ 00:01, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

? It is possible to know why? You choose to not talk with me on Commons:Deletion requests/Toubabmaster. It is possible to know when this picture will be deleted? --Toubabmaster (talk) 18:09, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- why? because you keep adding copyvio tags.
- Your images might never be deleted. If you go to the deletion request page you will see, that other people too think that you are the author of those photographs. I do not believe that none of the images you have uploaded are not yours.
- Until very recently, you have never come up with reasonable reason why those images need to be deleted. Now why should your father want them deleted? Is there a good reason? Amada44 talk to me 19:52, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- My father don't want to give his pictures. I do it because it was for aticle for french wiki, but father saw it and says me to delete them. Now, if you don't want to delete it, it's your choice, not mine. Maybe, if you talked me about your choice on the page Commons:Deletion requests/Toubabmaster, i never continue to keep adding copyvio tags. You prefer to say nothing and waiting for a new block. --Toubabmaster (talk) 22:19, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- look, I am not doing this to annoy you, all right? Its just that your story seems to be made up. If you release images into public domain, you can not undo that! Do you understand that? Also, why should your father not want those images released? (I still don't believe that its not you who did the photographs!) Give me a good reason!! And when you write it, try to not accuse me because that doesn't help. Amada44 talk to me 07:19, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
- You choose to don't belive me. I accuse you, because it's the truth. If you don't like that, please do your job whith respect for others. On commons, many pictures are deletd for copivio problems. Sometimes you choose to belive. And now you prefer to keep and block. I'm sure that block is here only for keeping the pictures, and you don't want to explain your choice whithout block. Thaks for everything, the copivio is your problem now, not mine. --Toubabmaster (talk) 10:52, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

And when you write it, try to not accuse me because that doesn't help. Amada44 talk to me 07:19, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Toubabmaster. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Toubabmaster~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
