Re:« MVRs are "discussed"; "portrait" for paintings »
Oh, no, no, no. You don't have to. Although efficient, you might not have to change them all. Nevertheless, it's good to change |orientation=
to either increase or decrease transclusion image sizes. "Portrait
" is smaller; "landscape
" is bigger; "panorama
" is wider. You don't have to change |status=
, especially when only one from a scope is "nominated
, but, if another from the same scope is nominated, ...well, let someone change it to "discussed
". --George Ho (talk) 10:35, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- On the other hand, cmandler said:
These descriptions refer not to the content of the image but to the orientation. Portrait orientation is generally a more vertical image (taller than it is wide), landscape orientation is more horizontal (wider than it is tall), and panorama is very horizontal (much wider than it is tall). See en:Page orientation. I've reverted your edit to the Yalta Conference VI nomination, but wanted to explain.
I don't know if there is right or wrong about this. --George Ho (talk) 12:34, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- OK, then it's important only if width is really bigger/smaller than height I guess. I'll be more careful about it. ;) Totodu74 (talk) 12:37, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
