File:Jambalaya.gif has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

@廣九直通車: Am I not allowed to make my own .gifs now? I did not "recreate anything". (((TPG))) (stalk) 09:56, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
- @That's Pretty Good: In fact, the GIF file you made is actually not your own work. Instead, it is a derivative work of a copyrighted television programme (which was found from Soup of Nazi). If you really are the copyright holder of the file (which I mean, you filmed the content of the file yourself), please do not re-upload these file as they will still be deleted. Please send a permission email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org according to the instructions of OTRS. Please also file a undeletion request on COM:UDR regarding the file. Repeated re-uploading of files may be considered a act of edit warring or serious copyright violation, and may ultimately lead to a block. Thank you.廣九直通車 (talk) 06:06, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello That's Pretty Good.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |
